We just deal with the post itself and warn the person. If it's a reoccurring offense, then we start taking more serious action.

Oh lol...I had my portion of fun when I was looking at this thread sometimes and I was seeing lamb's post as the last one...and the thread was still not locked 🤣 but I'm leaving for a week and I won't be able to do that anymore 😢

Question to the mods ( meaning lambs, as he's the only one haunting mu recently ) : are there any "rules" we should mind when we're reporting posts? From what I heard, one word posts are ok in the intro section, also that the newbies can get away with double-posting.

From what I can see of the reports you guys give us, I don't need to add any new "rules". You guys are doing better with it~

i c some double posts all the time but i dont report em cus theres usually a comp problem that they mention like what happened2me or theres a mod post right below it and i figure they must have seen it.i will report when i need2tho but havent needed 2yet

Of course I'm allowed to moderate it! Especially since the other mods seem to be...inactive...right now...I'd prefer not having to though. The stuff in there is...jacked up, to say the least. I wish I could just lock them all and be done with them

Um, you didn't. I just remember reporting a double post from a newbie and getting a PM saying that 'double posting isn't technically against the rules' and that you do 'frown on, it but we tend to let it go, especially if its a new member who's not fully aware of the rules yet.' So that does mean that the new guys can get away with double posting.

And it's nice to know that we have a hang of the new reporting process 😁

yes i do use them. i don't like people breaking rules. especially when they double post intentionally. (umm please read the rules first.)

though i might be breaking rules by spamming, too. though i try not to most of the time.

I report sometimes...when I don't, I just post it in the mod forum and let one of the supermods handle it 🙂 has no real power...

I didn't even know we could until someone mentioned it. But even if i knew before, I still wouldn't report, I would just feel like maybe what I am reporting isn't as big a deal as I think.
