i hated sushi like fuck at first
but than i tried real sushi from japanese chefs and it was one of the best dishes i've ever tasted

I don't think I've tried a lot of Japanese food but I do like sushi. I want to try takoyaki but unfortunately I don't know of a place that serves it.

Raw fish, disgusting? It's healthy, actually. Me being of Cantonese descent, I throw a lot of pre-concieved notions on food out the window, with the exception of big bugs and arachnids, but anything else is fair game.

I love:
Sushi/Sashimi
Yakitori
Shabu Shabu
Taiyaki

The list could go on forever, probably, so I'll just keep it at that.

I dunno what to put here at all...

I'm not a big fan of Japanese food or anything. Actually, I like all good food in general. But the best ones that I've tried to date are:

1. shabu shabu nabe
2. sobayu & sobagaki
3. yukimi daifuku
4. yokan (so good 😀 )
5. tempura donburi
6. daigaku imo

Shabu shabu nabe is freaking awesome, btw 😃 I attempted natto once, but couldn't follow through for the life of me... Amanatto tastes OK though.

not really a fan.. but love those salmon thing on the rice.. big ass raw sushi .. really good

I'm not a fan of uncooked fish however I would love ramen soup with seafood. Had plenty of seafood in Thailand and actually loved it.

Benihana's and ramen preferably shoyu. Other than those, I think japanese food is disgusting

tempura, takoyaki, sushi, i'm allergic to salmon egg. But i still eat it coz i like it!! 😀

Honestly I'm not a big fan of Japanese food. I choked on tempura at a restaurant and had to force the food down my throat. I didn't want to seem rude to I ate the food (miraculously). Maybe it's because I ate sushi and tempura (and it was my first time too) that it was too overwhelming for me or because it was cold food. 🤢 I'm willing to try new stuff so I can expect to go to the mall with friends and order new Japanese food. 🤣
