So after reading a fair amount of shounen ai and yaoi mangas with fluffy and cute romances, happy endings, or the whole 80% of the series containing smut scenes. And so for a change, I'm looking for BL mangas that may or may not be tragic but can make you cry, tug at your heartstrings and/or give you that bittersweet feeling after reading it. I would appreciate it more if the manga can also focus on the character's feelings and emotions too. ^^ (please excuse my English)

I don't mind if the series is unscanlated or unfinished scanlating.

Here are some of my favourite examples:

Golden Days - Definitely cried buckets during the last volume.

Hana no miyako de

Smells like green spirit - One of my top 3 favourite BL of all time 😁

Haikei, Niisan-sama - Tugged at my heartstrings, left me with a bittersweet feeling after reading it.

Tadayoedo Shizumazu, Saredo Naki mo Sezu

Hybrid Child - The last story is a good example of what I'm looking for.

Both of them have a really lame cover picture. There was a lot of times when these mangas came up, but I didn't want to read it, because of the cover. I regret now that I haven't read them sooner. They are bittersweet and heart-wrenching and they left a deep hole in your heart. I highly recommend them!! 😃

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Sakura Gari in my post. It's also an example of what I'm searching too. It's dark but it definitely tugged at my heartstrings and made me on the verge of tears ^^
