Okay, this time I'm not asking for manga because of an assignment; I just have an interest in war stories. Can anyone list manga titles that deal with WWI or WII? Any genre is fine -- it doesn't have to be seinen or shounen.

So far, these are the series I've found that deal with the World Wars:

Adolf: Obviously, a WWII manga. Deals with several characters that share the name Adolf, including but not limited to Hitler.

Alpine Rose: Old-fashioned shoujo art is nevertheless bearable in this WWII romance. Not my cup of tea, but hey. It fits the wartime theme.

Aka no Washupiel: A fascinating if somewhat gay look into the workings of the Hitler Youth. Very quiet and subtle.

Giglio: Set in the midst of an African desert in WWII. A disturbed soldier goes AWOL with an Italian priest. Be warned: This manga contains explicit rape.

Hellsing: The Dawn: Walter, the deadly butler from Hellsing, is still a kid here. He's sent on a mission against the Nazis, who are plotting supernatural evil in Warsaw.

Orpheus no Mado: Another shoujo romance, this one's set at the beginning of WWI. Deals with Russian spies and cross-dressing.

The Town of Evening Calm: Not actually set during WWII, but deals with the aftermath of the atom bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

Who Fighter: Japanese fighter pilots in WWII. Awesome art.

Zipang: SO BRILLIANT OMG. A modern Japanese fleet is sent back in time to one of the most famous naval battles of WWII.

Well, that's all the World War manga I could find. If anyone has any other titles to name, please do so! Like I said, I really don't care about the genre. Sadly, my dream of finding yuri with girls in military uniforms has gone unfulfilled. 😀

The rocket I believe was a testing rocket of German scientists. It's definitely in WWII. It's one of the most freakiest manga ever made.

Yeah, I'm also interested in any manga about the Vietnam War or the Gulf War... Any actual historical war. Tropical Citron is great... I also like Apocalypse Meow, even though it stars bunnies, lol. (Well, they're scary, gun-toting, militaristic bunnies.) I just think it's an awesome satire of the Vietnam War -- a kinda Orwellian take on it.
