the first question comes to mind, what were they fighting for?
most people want to say slavery. Yeah, that was part of it. But really, it was the same reasoning as every single war ever: power and money. Did the South do the right thing? Maybe. Did the North do the right thing? Maybe. There's only gray areas in war, no one is completely right and no one is completely wrong.

Apparently good satire is-- trolling hardly qualifies. It takes a real man to not just declare his intense prejudice against the mixing of peanut butter and jelly, and despite the inherent deliciousness in the combination, never eat the sandwich again.
I think we're about on par with that level of laziness, if you want to take that route.
