wrong title. its 255 not 254. Well it'll be interesting to see how a bunch of people stuck in time for 7 years interact with the society now. HOnestly this is kinda new. havent seen this scenario in a while. I was thinking.............how creative, everybody has a time skip so fairy tail needs one too!?!? now that i see everyone is still the same after 7 years kinda interested me in the next few chapters lol.

The timeskip was only there so that they could start to bring romeo along on missions? >_>
I have a theory that romeo is Zefer, but yeah. The rest of the arc is propably about Fairy tail geting their reputation back...

i doubt they'll start bringing romeo along. Look at him. he cant even defeat the bandits that natsu took out with a kick!. And look at his magic, looks flame based. Dont need another flame mage in the team 😮

7 years -> world changed -> new enemies, new institutions perhabs (well what of the new council etc.)
and yeah the whole time gap thing

(they just defeated the strongest dark guild in Fiore, what else other than timeskip or emmigration? xD)

I admit I was also looking forward to an older fairy tail team but come on this is shounen... they cannot suddenly change to a team of 22+ aged members right?^^

Well this kind of thing does happen all the time in myths about fairies.. but it's not normally a good thing.
Oh well at least it didn't take too many chapters. Fairy tail world is not that interesting anyway apart from the dragons so hope there's not too much detail wasted on 7 years of guild politics. It's probably just an excuse to let that blue-haired guy with stuff drawn on his face out of jail.

Also who is Zefer? Unless you mean Zeref in which case I like that theory.. 🤣

Look forward to it. I know i sound like a fan boy but somehow i'm not too repulse by this surprise. Or maybe because i was thinking of something very negative like spending hundred of chapters to bring back all the old crew. (crew gets separated and they slowly find them and get them to join back plot) .

well I'm not sure about that, originally majority of them didn't really care about society since they just go off destory thing in every mission they get. the only difference now would be the lesser request which will probably go back to normal now that everyone's back.

Glad to i know i was right when i said it that i think the girl was Mavis, but more so is i reckon that the possibility of the guild council suffering hugely as Zeref is out in in the real world so the dark guilds might actually be more rampant then usual

Anybody else feel like kicking the mangaka? I mean, all that drama, just to more or less reset the story and stretch it?

There are times when you will miss what you never had. I wonder how you will find what you so desperately need.

I kind of figured this would happen. A 7 year ship is too long if you wanted to change the characters a bit. Makarov would probably be dead, and everyone, except maybe the dragon slayers would be in mid to late twenties, that's too old for a Shounen manga. Some kind of suspended animation or memory loss or scattered to the ends of the earth were the only choices but once Tenrou was confirmed to existed only the suspended animation course was left. I was not expecting Mavis though.

I wish she would have explained more on why it had to be seven years like magic drain or spell side effects.

I expect the world is going to be a much darker place now. Maybe that final dark guild in the three will pretty much be ruling things.

ah but his flame magic might be used like a power source for Natsu, when he runs low on magic just eat Romeo's fire or something 🙂

Same here. Was really looking forward to some kind of character development with new powers new depth to their personalities and maybe even new looks. Kind of disappointed that they are the exact same as they were 7 years ago.
