well i think the bodies he controls are dead anyways like im pretty sure the first body(make that the second pain) we saw was the clay manipulator and we know he died from self destructing. But i still think naruto's mother save jiraiya from death. does anyone have theories of what happened to her assuming she did not die of childbirth

Forbidden by the village, or maybe she wanted Naruto in the village but couldn't remain herself. After all, Konoha has better living conditions than the rain country.

I think that Jiraiya will live, at least for now.

And maybe Pain is the only one who can control the bijuu because he's the only one with the rinnegan.

besides when was it said the akatsuki members want power? They're motives differ.Deidara was even somehow forced to join!

if Tobi is really Uchiha Madara then he IS stronger than Pain.but Pain is really being overpowered...far too much -_-

I find it logical for Jiraya to die, because then Naruto would lose an important person for the first time. He'd would want revenge, then he would be able to relate to sasuke, but here's the twist. Being the always happy and positive guy he would decide that revenge is wrong, and then convince sasuke of the same thing because now he lived through a similar experience. And we will have a crappy ending. But personally I would love to see Naruto, driven by revenge, fighting Pain while Sasuke is fighting Itachi at the same place in a 2vs2 battle.

I think hes in the valley of the End where Naruto and Sasuke dueled and parted ways.(Not very near the Rain country but still north of Konoha)

As far as Pain goes I throw out the idea that since he has full control and balance in all charka types (fire, earth, etc.) I believe he may have found a way to split himself into 6 parts as a way to not only anchor himself to the living world(cause if one dies hes still ok and we know now he can revive those "parts") but also each part now specializes in 1 of the charka elements. Freakin "God-Moding"!!

Jiraiya needs to either end it by either dieing or running the hell away already cause his fight just isn't very interesting. But I forsee it going on until at least 381. 🤢

Personally I like him and would mess him greatly if they did kill him off.

Hmm, Jiraiya could always die.. You never know.. And besides he isn't that big of a character.. Reasons that indicate that he could die..

1. He's old.. 🤣

2. He's always saying about how the newer generation will surpass the older generation, which will make him unnecessary..

3. He probably has learned Naruto all that he could in those 2.5 years..

4. The scene between him and Tsunade..

Naruto's mom most likely wont be shown anytime soon if she is even alive, because the whole point of the manga is that Naruto is an orphan and made bonds (gay or not...) with Sasuke (it kills me to type that name). If his mom is introduced out of the blue in the story, she'll have to die quickly (and theres been enough deaths for a while).

Naruto and Sasuke (uuugh) are different enough to begin with (no matter what Naruto or Kishi say) and Naruto finding out his mom is alive would just increase the already HUGE difference.

I mean we already pretty much know Minato will come back from the "dead" at one point or another somehow (even if its a vision or something)... because he is just too cool of a character.

But so was the whole setup with him talking to Tsunade before he left with the feeling he was going to his death. 🙄

Meh, I don't view it as cliché.. I want J-man to die, because then "Naruto" the series is more credible.. And it shows that no character is invincible.. But on the other hand, I don't want him to die, because he's a great character..

Ouch, LMAO that just sounded cold but I found it amusing still. Yea killing him off would help me deal with the series and its "God-mod" attempts(the Sannin in general, Pain). Having 2 of the 3 Sannin dead the passing of the old guard so to speak. Everyone seeing that you need to stop looking to "legends" to solve your own problems. Like how when Orochimaru was on the move and Konoha was making no secret that it was actively searching for Jiraiya and Tsunade for help.

I don't have a problem with anything that you're saying, but it'd be too illogical if Jiraiya and Tsunade died at this point. I doubt that Naruto and Sakura have picked up everything that they could possibly learn from them.

And as for motives, Naruto and Sasuke both fighting for revenge is gonna kill the story, especially since it's this long already. The point of the story is that you DON'T do that.

I disagree.. They've already learned a proportianate(sp?) amount of their teachers.. and now basically, they have to 'learn' themselves.. Create new techniques themselves.. That's how every 'legend' in Naruto became great.. Sakura and Naruto are probably Jounin-class by now.. They're not Genin anymore, who still need to learn the basics..
