Mine is the 2nd Generation, because you're able to go back to Kanto, fight all of the gym leaders from the 1st generation (Except for Giovanni, who was brilliantly replaced by Blue), and you got an epic showdown with Red at the end.

First Gen, Yellow...There are only 151 pokemons!!!

Specifically blue, doing the mew glitch 😁 Although Gold/Silver/Crystal were very good as well.

1st and 2nd gen were the best Pokemon games.....i hope they make a remake of the second gen like what they did with Firered and Leafgreen

I'm 20 so I only really played the first generation. I do have Gold but I never got round to completing it and only saw the episodes up to the jhoto league I think it was. So I never really learnt many of the new pokemon and I'm totally lost now, lol.

Still the old onesare the best, nostaligia and all. The first 2 films are great and being able to rattle of all 151 pokemon in order was one of my proudest achievements, more so than getting straight As on my report, lol. I also managed to complete red, blue and yellow since I had red and my brother had blue and yellow and my best mate was also obsessed so it made trading easy.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

1st gen hands down.

First Gen all the way. The others made tiny improvements here and there, but nothing really comes close to being as fun (and IMO as challenging) as the red/blue/yellow games.
