So far, the team that has impressed me the most are Argentina and Germany, i'm guessing they would do well at least until the quarter final stage.

As for me, i support Spain and hope that they would do well this time around, i'm not too worried about their loss against the Swiss, they needed that defeat to go all the way, it's an important wake up call and in the next match we'll see the furia roja at their best 😀 .

Ohh... i hope the Asian rep would do well, South Korea and Japan are the one with the best chance of of progressing to the second round and that's as far as they'll get IMO 😎

My prediction: Argentina, Germany, Brazil and Spain in the semi or subs one of them with the Netherlands 🤣

from the way they've played i can honestly put hand on hear and say that France, Greece and Nigeria don't deserve to go through.

somebody has to sign the Nigerian goalkeeper. he's been the best throughout the tournament so far.

Well so far not much is decided. Germany played very well in their first game but let's see how the second is later today.
Argentina on the other hand played bad in their first game yet in their second they were good enough to get very far in the tournament.

France deserves to get flattened yet again and i hope they dont get any further. Italy should too. They are known for only getting though by luck and really... they gotta run out of it someday. Brazil was not great but not too bad either. Gonna be nice to see how they continue. Spain still can get far i think. They didnt play bad, they were just a bit unlucky. And i really want to see the Netherlands play well again. The way they played in the European Championship it was just amazing.. till they lost again russia but still. If they play the way they did back then it would be great.

thats because they are the most well known team in football and usually has the most flair out of all the teams something which I knew would be lacking this time around thanks to Dunga. France, Italy doesn't derve to get through.

Well , you know , football isn't all about offense and dribles and stuff. Those are just part of it ( yeah , I know these are the money and people bringers , but what good are they if you loose). The major factor is strategy and tactics. And defensive football IS a strategy. Heck if you don't like it and can't win against it using your ordinary plays , then you can hope you get lucky or that your offensive line has more than the oponent's defensive. Either that or you change your plans. Simple

However that doesn't mean you have to like it and moreover the beautfiul game isn't meant to be played that way but heck who cares as long as you win right. Instead of saying they are playing really defensive and negative football I guess you could say that the offensive part of the opposing team wasn't good enough. Anyways the germans let slip too many chances plus refereez was an asshole for giving out way too many cards. Klose didn't deserve to be sent off after two mediocre challenges.

The World Cup has come alive, I'm hoping that Slovenia and the USA draw, It'll do England a huge favour for the match against Algeria, also if Slovenia win they qualify and I don't like the sound of that. Also I feel as if the Germans were hard done by the Spanish referee against Serbia this afternoon, the referee was trigger happy in dishing out the cards, and there was no way that was a sending off.

So you say . But guess what. Defensive football can be defeated. And if the oponent plays defensive football then simply change your strategy momentarly till you break them , and they'll have no choice but to abandon teir defense , therefore allowing you to play your so favorite offensive football . If your team can't do that , then I'm sorry to say that it is due to either the coach or the players inability to adjust to the game.
Did you see how Argentina scored the first two goals to Korea? What did the Korean do after that? And it wasn't simply luck or talent that allowed those 2 goals but smart plays
