England is indeed useless... They are good players individually, but as a team, they're crap. Makes me wanna rip my hair out seeing some of the half assed passes >:-(
I'm so disappointed.

but that kind of game does make you wounder. How the hell is wayne rooney one of the worlds top players 😲 i'm serious ....
He is a top player, when he plays for Manchester United.
Same with Lampard. And don't even go there with Terry.
Yeah top player when he is in manchester...but that doesn't mean much if he can't pull it off in a world cup. Is the manager as good as they make him sound? Reason why i said that about wayne rooney is because he looked more dead towards the end rather than more alive. I just don't understand what happend here. I have a feeling the manager is a dud, apears to be good but probably not as good as all that.
I Don't think wayne rooney is a top player anymore. I lost faith. 🤣

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

My choices for the next game Fabio, go 4-5-1. Play Gerrard behind Rooney, take Heskey out and Lennon out and play Joe Cole and Wright-Phillips on the wing. At least Wright-Phillips tried to beat his man. Also don't forget that Rooney finished the season coming off an injury, who knows he might not even be fit, that's what it's looked like anyway.

i know this isn't much of an excuse but I do have to put into consideration that if Algeria lost that ,match the would have hone home straight away. England still has a chance depending on what happens between USA and Algeria.
so far Argentina are the only team to win both their games and seem the most reliable. If Ghana wins their game we will finally have a team through to the to the next round. come on Ghana show the Europeans that this truly is an African world cup.
The only good thing about this particular world cup is that almost anyone can win cause all the favourites are playing under average.

Rooney was useless in that match 😐 He messed up every opportunity given to him with his first touch. He's only a top player when he's playing Premier League or Champions League. Useless otherwise.
It's not just Capello, but he's a part of it for sure because of who he's playing where. I mean, Gerrard, the poor guy, was playing out of position and it showed. He didn't know what he was doing.
But they had no connection between them, they didn't play as a team. The friendlies before the World Cup were there so he could form a team before the World Cup is in the second match of the group stages... It doesn't look like he did that does it :/

Finally, after a lousy game against Ghana much better performance from Serbian team. Now we cheer for Australia to beat, or even better tie, against Ghana and with the win in 3rd game we're off to second round.
I feel bad for Slovenia losing their lead against USA but they we're poor in 2nd half. Ref clearly damaged Americans for a goal but that's football for ya'.
Greetings from Serbia!you now that you didn´t play good? You just won because of this referee and Podolski hasn´t a good day
What's this bitching about referee? I haven't heard any of your players complaining. He was a bit harsh bit his criteria was quite equal. Our entire defense got yellow cards. Podolski played good but he was short on finish.
ehm... you´re players faked fouls and we got yellow cars for this. And when we got fouled he didn´t even react. And of course our players can´t complain because if you get one referee against you, you got all against you
Oh, come on! You're being ridiculous. We faked fouls so innocent, little germans could get punished, right? Ref was harsh, as I said before, but both sides got cards.
And of course our players can´t complain because if you get one referee against you, you got all against you
I reacted something like this while reading this

Actually, England controls their own destiny, as well as USA and Slovenia. And even though Algeria doesn't control their own destiny, they have a legitimate shot of advancing. So, what happens between USA and Algeria has no bearing on England (other than who wins the group, and who's second). If England wins, they're in. If Slovenia wins, they're in. If USA wins, they're in. Algeria needs to win, and have a little help. What does all this mean? Wednesday is going to be epic. 😀

next week is gonna be epic and if Algerians didn't loose their first match it would have been more epic. I must admit I like the any one can win games. 🤣 I wanna see how many cards will be given next week. 🤣

Hopefully this will go through, and Coulibaly will get kicked off...
Also, FIFA desperately needs some kind of instant replay system...

The germany versus serbia game was just oh god dissapointing. The referee dished out too many cards but in no way did he support one team more than the other. It just didn't go that well for the germans, thats al. if he was going for serbia, there wouldn't have been that penalty given you know. Podolski was utterly useless, wasted 2 or 3 golden opportunities. For england, Capello needs to do some serious thinking. I can't believe he played SWP again instead of Walcott, Walcott needs to be given a chance and England seriously needs some pace. keep lennon in, take heskey out and put walcott in and have two wingers supporting lone striker Rooney upfront, give them the license to come through the centre and shoot instead of crossing. Capello also needs to put Gerrard in a better position, he should be in CAM position not a freakn defensive midfielder.Lampard needs to go up as well in a more attacking position, and Barry can stay behind to defend. THe problem is that Capello is a defense minded italian manager and England this time around consists of attack minded players like Gerrard and Lampard and if you play these two out of position you are not using their full potential. The high ranked teams seriously needs to step up. Wtf is wrong with this world cup, the way its going even New Zealand might draw against Italy.

Man, this is one hell of a World Cup. Grant it, my brackets are all screwed up now, but it seems like any team is capable of beating any other team, or at least compete with any other team.

It's been so unpredictable because everyone (or almost everyone) sucks... barely saw really good football since the World Cup started (I've seen almost all the matches this far).
What was that crap of all teams being so afraid to be scored that they forgot that attacking is part of the game too? Ok, this happens in every first round of the World Cup, but this time is so obvious >< that most of the matches ended up being boring. Someone should tell the coaches to stop speculating and play!
