Who says zanpakutos can't have their own personality? Every single own we've been introduced to has had it's own thought's and ideas, just look at Renji's conversation with his baboon-snake. As for her having reiatsu, have you ever seen her cast a spell or use reiatsu in any way at all? I can't remember any instances. As far as Yachiru's happiest day being when she met Zaraki, wouldn't any zanpakuto's favorite day be the one they met their host face to face? Her history starts with Zaraki and as far as we can tell she rarely, if ever far away from him. Not saying she definitely is his Zanpakuto, but you can't really discount the theory.

does being fast indicates a strong reiatsu also? i remember during the fight of ichigo and zaraki, ichigo was surprise how fast yachiru's movement was, one minute she was in kenpchi's shouldrs, the next she is in ichigo's.

Wasn't he also surprised by Zangetsu speed and power? I don't think speed has anything to do with reiatsu.

i thought the one with reiatsus the person himself, and the reiatsu from within flows through the zanpakutou , so speed may be influenced by the reiatsu from one's body

Also all Zanpaktous as of now, knew they were Zanpaktous. @_@ Yachiru has made no indication toward acknowledging that fact. And I think Tite would explicitly say it in the beginning if it were so.

Last but not least, how can a Zanpaktou be a Vice-captain? 🤣

She has also never denied being one either. If she is his zanpakuto and revealed it too early to Zaraki it would hurt their relationship. As for her release of reiastsu, it comes quite conspicuously when Zaraki removes his eye-patch. So if zanpakuto and shinigami do indeed share abilities and reiatsu, which would make sense since the zanpakuto is actually a part of thier soul IIRC, it could be argured that it is still Zaraki's reiatsu flowing through Yachiru as his zanpakuto. As for why she's allowed to be a vice captain, Zaraki seems to be a walking exceptions to the "rules," but has there ever been stated the criteria for being a vice captain? I mean Nemu is an artificially created soul and is still a vice captain.

Oh and we should probably move this discussion to it's own thread since we seemed to have wandered a bit off topic. I'd do it myself but it might look like I was the one who came up with the theory and I wouldn't want to poach, that and I'm about to fall asleep on my keyboard. 😀

P.S.: Last name of Yachiru is Kusajishi(sp?). The last name of Zangetsu and Zabimaru are non-existant.

Yachiru has a surname, because Zaraki gave it to her, right? She couldn't possibly remember it and as far as I remember, Zaraki gave her name, so.

i think they are all pretty good but i like izuru best ^_^

Rangiku Matsumoto, for two very big reasons...

I love Nemu and Isane though.

Tree + Taco = Tree taco.

1. Matsumoto (she's my homeboy's girl, gotta look after her)
2. Kira (I can't quite put my finger on why, but ever since I first saw him in the show, I said to myself: "I like that girl...")
3. Hisagi (he may be a wimp, but he looks cool doing it)
4. Ise (I have a thing for nerdy chicks)
5. Kusajishi (she's just too damn cute)
6. Kurotsuchi (the way a woman should behave)
7. Kotetsu (post-op trannys, ftw!)
8. Iba (I just remember him fighting with baldy a lot, and he wears those cool sunglasses)
9. Hinamori (I don't like her, or her boyfriend)
10. Ōmaeda (he's fat)
11. Abarai (don't like gingers, and don't like the fact that he becomes a wimp, even after reaching bankai)
12. Sasakibe (you would think that the vice captain of the 1st division would be some sort of badass, but he's more like a caretaker to old man Yamamoto)
13. Shiba (anyone who can't handle a sword through the gut is worthless)
