Why so much suicides, 11 in 100,000 for USA, and 26 in 100,000 for japan, 9 in 100,000 in the UK.
I mean I know there is social pressure and all, but that's faced by everyone, even rich people.
I seen videos of Africa children with no hands from the war and they are still living life to the fullest, so why not us?!
People in countries that gives us a chance to be something.

a higher education brings higher depression rates because people realise the world sucks and god doesn't help anyone?
"Sanity is for the weak"

unemployment --with the IT bubble bursting many thoroughly literate people are rendered jobless..it must be frustating when u study engineering for 4 yrs with all u got ....manage to get a job after a hail of interviews in campus...bear superior's taunts.....work under management people who have 1/2 the IQ as you but still draw more salary.....then get laid off with no mistake on ur part.....ur girlfriend leaves u for a rich heir.....u see people showing their true colors...and so on 😛 .....
though i'd never do it....cuz i dont blv in aftrlife and all that spiritual bull.....i'd enjoy life to the full even if i am struck with a crappy job ...well thats just me ...i am a pessimist....i nvr expect anything so i dont get dejected 🤣 🤣 🤣

at my school we have already had like 6 anti bully things because it sometimes causes people to commit suicide.

what akillaz said
korea/japan/china tend to have a more rigorous education than the us (ex. my cousin over there goes to school at 8am and comes back home at 10pm. not involving clubs and sport)
and theres this weird phenomenon over there, that the entire school choose one person to be their victim and they bully the crap out of them.

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"

As far as I know, Japan has a high rate because they are strict on education. U.S.A's high rate probably comes from how bad the economy is and most teens become extremely suicidal with all the bullying and their lover dumps them (not a good enough reason to commit suicide to me). No clue why the UK has that number.. o.O

I think suicide is the easy way out, and don't condone it. However, the media is portraying suicide in a sympathetic light, so many impressionable viewers are seeing it as a valid way out, and one where people will have sympathy for them when they're gone (something some of these people have never had, much less real love and friendship).
In addition, in developed countries, we really do realize what we have. Nonetheless, we strive for more, and find that even that does not make us happy. There are no dreams for a lot of these people. They have everything, and there is still no happiness, no love, no contentment, no acceptance.
That's my take on it.

Suicide is considered as a normal option there. In the samurai age, it was conceded as an honor to kill yourself. Also in America and Europe, there is religion preventing suicide. They are taught that they would go to hell if they took their own life. Japan as no such thing as a part of their religion. The education there is also pretty competitive too. If they don't succeed, suicide is looked upon as a viable option. Overall it is just a different lifestyle there.
The world made by man is not a land for a human to walk,
it is a race to lose the spark that we all are born with
while get lost in the vastness of all that which
is only a substitute for all of the things that should come
naturally.
