I grew up bilingual, Serbian and German. But due to living in Germany my serbian is awfully bad because i have no reason to use it in daily life.

my native language is Indonesian, but for some reason my brain always speak English whenever I'm thinking.. 😛 strange, no?
maybe that's because I rarely talks with other people... 🙁
I don't think it's strange... 'coz we have the same habits 😀
I'm thinking with English, answering people questions with Indonesian, and talk to my family or close friends with Sundanese.
btw... so many Indonesian here... 😲
though I don't know how many exactly...
Yeah I know my english is bad

I'm not really surprised but I kind of should be at how few Chinese speakers are on the site. (I'm stunned at the amount of those who are native French!) I guess it's because we would generally be accessing other sites for their huge volume of scanlations, but I really enjoy MU's feature of finding information about each volume, although it's a bit tough because of the annoying difference of having either simplified or traditional Chinese.
In order of fluency:
Four Chinese dialects including the official one
English
Beginner German
Can understand but not speak:
Some Spanish; was my native language in addition to family dialect but forgot a lot after moving to US. Makes it hard to talk with my relatives from Central America since their Hakka sucks and only a few know English. Lol!
Minnanhua/Taiwanese
Am thinking about learning Korean but I want to improve my German instead.

Chinese. Almost-close-to-native English, rather, would had been that way if my parents did not ban English at home. In some ways, I'm more fluent in English. Mainly around the parts of writing... But lack of speaking makes me bite my tongue a bit if I accidentally speak too fast in English. XD||| Can't organize my thoughts to speech as well as Chinese. To clarify, I say Chinese as in Traditional. Not to be confused.
My thoughts are always a mix of Chinese English and Japanese though lol. Mostly Japanese for some weird reason... Anime and manga influence? Lately it's been novels...

My native language is Portuguese (Brazil) ^....^
I learned to read English by translating mangas/manhwas in english to my language, because most of the mangas that I liked to read at that time were not being translated to Portuguese, so I thought that I could try to read the English translated ones (somehow it worked!). I lack of writting and speaking English, though... 🙁
hehee ^^
