He could, it wouldn't be too far out there for Dragon to take him with him after hearing him out. He looks a bit like the guy who was helping Robin in her final cover.

I thought so too, during last weeks chapter, but this chapter made me realize that there would be no point to just have a flashback with a new character only to kill him off right away. It would serve no purpose for the plot development. Kind of sad that once flashback is over no more Ace though (until another flashback at least).

It would be cool and weird if Dragon took Sabo for a son, it would further reinforce the brothership of the 3 of them. Wonder what Sabo will say to Luffy (if he lives past flashback...)

I don't think it would be that bad if Sabo dies. Luffy would be the last of the 3 brothers. I don't know how he would die in this situation though... Gets shot by father or step brother? So Luffy is a noble huh.. Maybe not a World's noble.. But he apparently belongs to some high class lineage.. Guess Garp is one too.

I also think that Sabo will be in the revolutionaries 🙂

i "hope" that sabo is in the revolutionary though, so I tried to reread the past chapters with the cover of strawhat crew's separate story (one where robin saved by revolutionary) and i find that the closest character resembling the grown-up sabo might be that guy sporting black hat, although i must say that the hat doesn't look anywhere close to sabo's hat though.. but u never know with oda's crafty story-telling (like how the character of rayleigh and dragon had been shown and decided from the earliest vol, to show up again as a plot in what? vol50+), i wudn't be surprised... 😀

btw, awesome chapter again as always..

Also Garp was shown in the covers with Coby and Helmeppo way before he showed up as Luffy's grandfather. So Sabo being on a cover really isn't so odd. It's pretty cool that he shows new characters like that sometimes. And it might just be Luffy's grandmother that was the noble and not Garp now that I think about it.
