My orange cat went through my trashcan and found a used tube of insecticide. He then licks it. I called poison control and they told me to watch out for rapid breathing, change in mucus color, and vomiting. My orange beast seems ok for now, it's been about 2 hours already.

I need to buy a trashcan with a lid on it..

Made a vinegar trap and put it by my window since we had a fruit fly problem. Today my towel curtain absolutely refused to be pinned up and after several attempts flew right off the wall hitting said vinegar trap, filling the air with utter peachyness. I think I won't bother putting up curtains ever again. 😃

I work two jobs at the moment, and my boss for my second job is so inconsiderate when it comes to scheduling the employees. I told him I couldn't work weekends and he just said " no, you have to." I have to work like 13 days (both jobs together, some days are double-shifts) in a row and this isn't the first time. My second job pays well though so I need to just suck it up for the money 🙁

I just looked up the Nintendo Switch on amazon.de to see how the retailer is approaching it and then saw 68 reviews. The current rating is 4,5/5. How the hell are these supposed to matter if they are based on a 3 min. trailer? And people wonder why discussions on the web backfire if blind brand loyalty is the name of the game...

This actually happened yesterday...

So I was trying to make candied apples, and I burnt the first batch. T^T (Recipe told me a wrong time it would be done, and I wasn't using the candy thermometer correctly to get an accurate reading... )
Batch two... well I somehow managed to break the glass measuring cup, and deeply cut my toe. (Which that still hurts...)

Then I decided to make chocolate covered apples, and try the candied ones later. So I am tempering the chocolate, something I've done before. I add a little bit of milk to make it a little more saucy to coat the apples. It's was still too thick, so I added more milk... accidentally added too much milk. I tried adding what little I had left of the chocolate, but it wasn't enough... Coated the apples, the chocolate kept falling off, threw them in the freezer.... froze the chocolate, but also the apples. Mostly inedible apples... It was just a bad day, and I was frowning a lot.

How the fuck did you people vote for Trump? (This is a US site.) Was it another Brexit, where the young and "intelligent" decided that it could never happen anyway, so everyone stayed home? I was prepared though.

Why a clown as a president? I don't know what to think about it, but now I'm afraid of the future. Will manga still be purchasable after Trump becomes the president. I basically import all my manga from the USA, and with Trumps new tax. I can't pay for it anymore ( 2 years ago a manga was around 8 - 9 Euro and now it already cost 12 - 13 euro). With that tax it will probably go to a whopping 20 euros, or 22 dollar for one manga volume. That is too much. Well, that is less than my worries, with Trump as a president we will see the end of the world as how we know it.

Even after dead, we raise from the ashes for the sake of manga.

The fact that Donald J. Trump has been elected as 45th President of the United States, at a time when the Republicans hold the majority in the House and the Senate to boot. What a fucking time to be alive.

Now, the silver lining in this is that he is very unlikely to actually do all of what he said he was going to do. The talk that got him the seat of power likely contained a whole lot of shit that he has no intention of actually realizing in any form.
