The first time I make a thread and it has to be this. 🤢 Ugh.

Ok, I'm trying to get my mother to read manga. I gave her Oretama a while ago and more recently (yesterday) I gave her Yotsubato! because I'd just recently read it and found it hilarious. When I gave her Oretama it was only scanlated up to chapter 11 and she read all that and seemed to like it. She hasn't touched Yotsubato yet (can't expect much in 1 day).

Anyway! The problem is, my mum likes gay stuff. She frequently reads (i.e. can always be found reading) gay novels/e-books she downloaded from the internet. So... can someone, preferably female, recommend a yaoi/shounen-ai for my mum to read?

I think she said she likes "innocent romance stories", but I remember one of the stories she mentioned had someone getting stabbed in a 'Naruto kinda way' (no matter how fatal the wound, they survive ). She also wrote a story that had the lead female's children murdered. She's also mentioned a few shape changing stories with werewolves or shape changing dolphins and such.

OK so: decent art, yaoi/shounen-ai, good plot, something for a manga newbie. I suppose josei could also work, something aimed at the 50+ market.

Now I need a cup of tea and some proper hentai. 😐

Not gonna bother trying to get my dad into manga, he's a lost cause 🤣 .

edit: Bugger, just realised that the title looks more like a scanlation recruitment ad. >:-(

Lose - Opposite of win, to misplace something/someone. e.g. To lose your way, to lose a fight.
Loose - Opposite of tight. e.g. To have a loose screw, to loosen a jar lid.

^ Not just scanlators, but also company documents are getting it wrong now!
