First up! Is it anime or manga?
if there's a manga version, of course I'd read it first then watch the anime version

I always seem to watch the anime first before reading the manga. Not like on purpose or anything; it just happen like that. But like most, I could care less on which I have first. 😃

If i come across the anime first & i like it...i would read the manga for sure (if there is one & has more than 4 vol). On the other hand, if i read the manga first i don't bother with the anime (unless the anime is further ahead in the story than the manga).
But i don't care witch came first.

Lets say both are coming out around the same timeframe per ep or chapter, then id watch the anime first. If the manga is far ahead of the anime which is normaly is i read the manga first, but if i like the series ill watch the anime as well.

If I find the anime first. I watch that.

I watch the Anime first, most of the times it just depends what I'm watching. If the Manga is completed I will read it first then watch the Anime. (n_n)

It's whatever I run into first, but if there's a manga, I automatically stop watching the anime and read the manga.
Same here, I dropped Death Note anime like a bad habit as soon as I caught up to it in the manga.

It really depends. If the anime is practically word for word/action for action straight out of the manga, than I just read the manga and watch only my favorite episodes/fights.
Though there are exceptions - I watched the Death Note anime if only because the exaggerated pen movements and writing were so much fun. There was a lot of good things going on cinematically that the manga lacked; though both were good.
Then of course there's stuff like Ouran High Host Club - I watched the anime first and then read the manga; didn't make much of a difference.
Yay for variation. XD
