I don't care about the gender, but I'd like to have at least one boy and one girl. But I have no preference in this.

Atm, I wouldn't want children, ever.
Maybe when I'm about 19-20 I'll think different about it, but as for now, no thanks.
I love kids, so I'd want at least one boy and one girl, I'd love a pair of twins, but I don't know the odds of that since my dad is a twin . But I also know how hard it is to deal with them as I have a baby brother, but I won't be having any kids for at least 4-5 years from now, after I get married...
Kids are alright, but I don't want any. Give up 20+ years of my life to raise one? I'll pass.

The whole thing about twins skipping generations is myth.
If they run in the family, you have a higher chance than if they don't, regardless of generation.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

I want a boy... just because I have adorable little brothers and a devil of a little sister. 😛 also because I like the idea of having an older brother, whereas I have an older sister and that's it. So I'd like my first child to be a boy. On The other hand, an oldest girl would make a good babysitter...

Imagine what would happen if there were no more hypothetical situations.

I can't choose, so it doesn't matter
But I think I'd be a lot harder on a girl than on a boy, because I want her to be ambitious and successful, and not feel like she is limited to only certain opportunities or activities.
