A lot of it is perception and what your current lot in life is. I for example don't want a kid now but in the future when I settle down, I believe I would enjoy having kids. Probably no more than two though as that can be a lot to handle. As to the gender, I am not really partial to either one, but I think it would be nice to have a boy and a girl.
