Ivyscan is currently looking for editors and translators for several active and future projects.

Editors

Requirements: If you have any experience with Photoshop, we are willing to train you. We are looking for committed people, but we will work with your schedule as far as deadlines go. If there are particular projects you're interested in, we will try to accommodate you, if at all possible. Just let us know. Download the editing test here.

Translators

Requirements: The deadlines is flexible, but I expect one chapter can be finished not more than 3 weeks.

Projects in need of translators:

1. 1/2 ハート = 1/2 heart by Fujimura Mari (need Japanese translator)
   My poor synopsis: The first story is about a girl who fall in love with her twin sister's boyfriend.
   The last story is about 2 girls who happen to fall in love with the same guy. A funny story ^_^

2. 深呼吸の必要 THE COMIC = Shinkokyuu no Hitsuyou The Comic by Kurita Riku (need Japanese or Chinese translator)
   My poor synopsis: A group of people started working in sugar cane farm. It's a touching.

3. わんの実 = Wan no Mi by Okazaki Yohito (need Japanese translator)
   A story about dog that is drawed as small kid. It's a heart-warming and funny story. The art is cute as well.

Ivyscans is once again looking for volunteer editors & proofreaders for a variety of shoujo and other series.

Ivyscans focuses on classic and less well known gems, such as

• Alpine Rose by Akaishi Mchiyo: This is a adventure about a pair of brave youths Lundi & Jeudi who are swept along by the events of WWII.

• Golden Days by Takak Shigeru: This is a richly written story of an emotionally withdrawn 16 year old boy Mitsuya. During an earthquake, Mitsuya is suddenly pitched into his grandfather Yoshimitsu past. The boy is a dead ringer for his grandfather and becomes entangled with his grandfather's dysfunction, high born family. This includes a handsome young man Jin, who is the same age and cares deeply for Yoshimitsu.

• Yokohama Monogatari by Yamato Waki: Two girls grow up in Yokohama, which is changing during the Meiji Era. This is a story of binding friendship, powerful rivalry, and romance.
