Hmm... tried Suzuka yet? i see you're already reading some of Im Dal Young's other works (Aflame Inferno etc) so i suggest you check out Unbalance×2. If you're a sucker for (or can at least enjoy) a good romance manga you should read Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu. You might also like Pastel or Parallel. If you want something lighter, with less drama, you ought to take a look at Sekirei, Kimi ni Todoke and Kimi wa Pet.
Hope I helped to provide you with a few more goodies for your manga fix 😉
I've got quite a few more suggestions, if you liked any of them, so message me or check out my lists

Thank you or the suggestions. A lot of them seem like they could be decent; however, simple (non-yuri) romance stories, even if they have comedy and ecchi and whatnot, tend to fail at holding interests. I like at least some action or something to break up the plot every once in a while and really prefer stories with at least some fantastical element to more realistic settings.
I might read Sekirei though. I'm currently watching and enjoying the anime, despite its haremness. Depending on how it ends, I might check out the manga when the anime is done.

I've never really thought about Gintama before, mostly because I'm very unfamiliar with it. Shounen Jump series are usually decent enough at maintaining interest, but I think for now I'd rather try and find something else. Thank you for the suggestion though.

Your reading Tenjou Tenge, but not Air Gear? Just sad.
Aiki seems like something you'd like also.

Yeah, I've thought about Air Gear. But it's a long series and even though I like Tenjou Tenge I find it kinda confusing. I'm not sure about starting another series by the same author.
Since no summary for Aiki is given on the info page I have no clue what it's about, but looking at the cover shot I think I'm going to read it.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Oh and speaking of girls with guns, this week I read all of the available chapters of reid1's suggestion of Gunslinger GIrl. I was skeptical about it at first but it turned out to be an incredible, exciting, moving series. I'd also recommend it to anyone looking for something good to read.

Well, it became my favorite manga and to depose from the throne Kodocha which resisted for 5 years it could have been only awesome.
As an Italian (I live in Milan) I can also guarantee that everything is reproduced very faithfully (also the italian language, I loved when Petra said "testa di cazzo" to Sandro, LOL). It's really amazing. When they went to "La Scala" theater the mangaka also portrayed the statue dedicate from the city of Milan to Leonardo da Vinci in front of the theater. The newspapers have the same layout of famous italian newspapers, there is a political advertiser of ex prime minister "Romano Prodi", there are soccer t-shirts of many famous italian teams, etc. Many streets and squares are almost identical. It's also for that that I love it.
And did you notice that
both the Croce brothers named their girl after their sister (Rico and Enrica from Henrietta), I really wonder what happened between them. 😐
Sorry to all for the OT.
What I like in Trivial Pursuit style. Pick your category:

Well, I've never been to Italy and know next to nothing about the country (aside from the big stuff in history) and i still thought that it was a flat out awesome manga. Though I likely wouldn't have noticed otherwise, I suppose it is good to know that everything is being portrayed accurately. Knowing that everything has been well researched allows me to enjoy what the artist is doing a bit more (not that I wasn't enjoying it already).
As for the bit in spoilers, I sorta noticed that too. It is curious, but I'm sure we'll find out eventually.

Though the harem tag worries me, Change 123 sound like something I'd enjoy.
Highschool of the Dead definitely looks like something I'd like.
Junk - Record of the Last Hero is hard to judge. I might check it out but I've never really been a fan of power suits.
ZeroIn seems like a definite possibility even if it appears the scans have stopped.
Level E I'm not quite sure about, though I suppose it's a maybe.
Xblade looks like a good possibility.
Yeah, I'm familiar with Masamune Shirow, or at least the anime based off his works. I've never read any manga by him.
Eden has been suggested to me before. Not quite sure about it, but I might check it out eventually.
Blade of the Immortal is probably a no for now
Arigatou probably isn't something I'll get to any time soon. It just sounds sad.
Hyper Police looks like a maybe, but it's licensed.
Mai-HiME is one of my favorite anime of all time. I've never read the manga and I kinda don't want to. Judging by the description and how's its written from that loser Tate's perspective I'm guessing they screw everything up.
Crying Freeman at first glance doesn't look too appealing.
For Murder Princess, I've seen the OVA series and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, since I've heard the yuri element was actually toned up from the manga for the OVA I don't have much interest in reading it.
I watched some of the Princess Resurrection anime as well before giving up on it. Though the anime didn't really impress me, it seems like the kind of thing that might be better as a manga. I might check it out.
Finally, Rose Hip Rose and Rose Hip Zero are series I was already planning on reading.

I saw the darker than black anime and really enjoyed it. Not sure about the manga. The shoujo tilt worries me.
Anyway, thank you both very much for the suggestions. THanks to everyone in this topic I can see I'm not going to have to ask for more stuff for a while,

don't worry about the harem tag on change 123. the girl has somekind of multiple personality disorder. And I can see Arigatou not being for everyone. I wouldn't call it sad. Saikano is sad. Arigatou just makes the best out of bad situations. Level E has a little bit of everything, and I mean everything. I figured you could give it a shot.

The multiple personality thing's good to know. Actually it sounds kind of interesting. I probably will check that one out for sure now.
Yeah, I remember renting a couple of volumes of the Saikano anime a few years ago. That series was too depressing to continue for me. Still, even if it isn't that sad, I think I'll get to some other things before Arigatou.
