Cyber Punk Anime

Hi guys,
I'm actually looking for an anime this time, not manga (hope that's okay!).
I just want to watch something super cool in the cyberpunk genre. I've already seen Psycho-Pass and Ergo Proxy. I tried to get into Technolyze, but I couldn't make it past the first episode.
Anyway, recommendations anyone?

The Mardock Scramble movies perhaps? Dunno if cyberpunk enough though.
Mardock Scramble: The First Compression
Mardock Scramble: The Second Combustion
Mardock Scramble: The Third Exhaust
Then there's all those Ghost in the Shell movies and series and whatnot. Perhaps already heard of it?

Definitely Himitsu: The Revelation. The art/setting is less dark than Psycho Pass for example but it has similar themes. It also focuses more on the mystery/politics than action scenes. The premise feels a lot like the movie Minority Report.
Mardock Scramble: The First Compression Very dark, only watch if you can stand mature themes.
Maybe Dennou Coil, although it is much lighter than your examples. It is also slower paced and not full of action like most in the genre. Great anime though. I'm pretty sure the Hachi robots from PP were inspired by this anime.
There's also Stein;s Gate but not sure if it can be classified as cyberpunk but it's definitely good sci-fi/near future stuff. It deals with time travel. Nice plot.
If you don't mind older anime check Battle Angel Alita, Armitage III, and of course Akira, and Ghost in the Shell.
Technolyze i did like a lot btw. It went so dark so fast. Go for all alraedy listed. Quality picks.
A new Blame! is coming, Bubblegum Crisis(ova series one only) + AD. Police (an interesting mess of Hollywood adaptions), Dirty Pair: Project Eden(maybe stop here as it drags), Gunslinger Girl is kinda one (go for the manga for the complete picture),
Last Order: Final Fantasy VII (but will make no sense to the uninitiated + Advent Children Complete), Key the Metal Idol, Megazone 23(drops after ep. 1 in quality),
Metropolis 2001, Neo Tokyo(hit and miss), Noein (the "older" Steins Gate), Psycho-Pass 2(is better and more "punk" then S.01, just read my review), RideBack kinda and the unscanlated parts(nearly all of it) are great, Real Drive (an overlooked gem),
Serial Experiments Lain(a classic), The Animatrix(mixed but good)and Un-Go(only ok). Enough 😀 ? Whatever you do read:
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep + the Neuromancer series.
Koukaku Kidoutai Arise - Nemuranai Me no Otoko Sleepless Eye is the best printed GitS btw. Needs more love 😢 .

Thanks for all the AH-MAH-ZING! suggestions folks! I love that I can always count on you folks to point me towards something great! I guess I was really feeling the whole dark theme kinda stuff - but really any negative utopia or dystopian world will do. I recently watched and absolutely fell in love with Shinsekai Yori. It's certainly a beautiful, seemingly light anime. But there are these dark undertones and you don't really understand them until the very end.
I've already seen Ghost in the Shell, it's certainly makes my top 5 anime list 😀 . But I'm really liking the sound of Mardock scramble - it sounds unbelievably cool, I will be trying that one out; though depending on how mature it is, I may rethink continuing with it. Thanks for the heads up oneeyed!
I've also seen (and read) steins;gate, also very cool. I'm going to give Metropolis and Blame! a try as well.
Enough biggrin ? LOL yes, residentgrigo, yes! Thank you so much for all your great suggestions. I have read Gunslinger Girl and just got my hands on Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (Phillip Dick's novel, not the graphic). Also, I just finished Psycho-Pass 2, though I thought season 1 was WAAAY better (I sort of disagreed with your review lol). I thought it was well laid out, and brilliantly executed, with a truly terrifying antagonist. Although I loved the subject matter of S02, I felt that they could have done way more with the antagonist. He lost his appeal mid-seaon, I felt.
Anyway, thank you all so much!
Best,
Susumu

I put up a few more in the old post and play or watch on youtube:
The Blade Runner adventure game, Deus 1 + H.R., FF VII(best game ever), the MGS Series, Shin Megami Tensei Series, Snatcher/Policenauts, System Shock 2(has sadly aged ) and The Longest Journey(half fantasy).
The novels Ready Player One and Snow Crash are also very good and look up Max Headroom. You now have some of the best cyberpunk i know and i bleed chrome
The Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep comic is awesome btw. and has the full text
Report back to me dear Blade Runner when your mission has ended as i am curiouse what you will think of them
