Of course I preffer high quality.. But when there is nothing else, I might settle for midium...
Although I usually can't watch anything with bad quality.. not scans, nor anime..
It's hard this way.. But I just can't..

i prefer H.264, or MKV, cuz they are pretty good quality, plus jetaudio and my 42'' HD tv make it even better XD

I use Veoh to watch most of them but I download avi or mkv (avi's just so common) and well if I have the money and really like the anime I'll buy it (I buy manga more because it's cheaper and I'm just a poor student 😛 ) I try to buy the manga and anime I like the most because I want to support the author ^^

I prefer youtube, simply for it being free with streaming. I don't download anime normally, and watching it briefly is a plus.

Downloading is annoying and takes too long I like to watch through the internets. If I do download it (either because I cant find it or it's a really good episode) it's avi.

I prefer MKV or HD types since it has the best quality(though it takes up a lot of my memory _)
But yeah, I prefer the best quality 😛

I prefer .avi files.
And if I'm lazy, random video hosting sites. Not much of a fan of CrunchyRoll though.
I prefer .avi which I find is the best quality but it takes a lot of space so I only download when I absolutely want to burn it..otherwise, I end up snagging the online vid which is in .flv..

I like DVD quality. I watch the DVDs of anime when I'm really into the series. Generally though I watch the high quality .mkv files for most though.

HD 720p (1280x720 res)
Also, H.264 video compression + AC-3 or AAC audio are prefered

well HQ would hit the spot but sometimes those fighting scenes make everything so pixely.. Rightnow, i'm a fan for the H.264. And Avi.
i wouldve chose "dont care as long as i have the vid" but then if the whole vid is blurry (And in another language thus needs subs) then it'd be useless to me. 🙁
and HD 720p is beautiful but it loads very slow for me. 🙁

I'd add "Highest quality available" to the poll, but 720p is the best my system can play smoothly
(imaging watching [ThorAnime] GiTS Solid State Society in 1080p 😐 )

Mkv softsubed are my favored medium. I don't mind resolution much though I prefer non upscaled video of at least 720p. DVDs would be nice if not for censorship, region encoding and the general ripoff they pose in terms of special features and episode count in comparison to movies and TV show compilations. I'd would potentially go with any format though so long as there is no censorship and the translation was good.
