Download or read online?

I'm just wondering whether people like downloading manga more or prefer to read them online.
With download, you dont need the internet after initial download, and it's faster than reading online
However, there are chances of screwing up your computer as well
How do you prefer your manga?

I prefer to read online, just to save the effort of having to open each image page and make it bigger on computer viewer. I have good antivirus installed, so reading online is protected.

I prefer to read online. If I download every manga that I read, my hard drive will be full in no time.
life which has lost can't be returned that's why life is precious and living is wonderfulTRC
I don't download because it'll be too hard on my crappy computer's memory. Hence, when I truly liked a manga and, say, it was licensed, I buy it and put it with my other manga collection.

A downloaded chapter has never caused me any computer problems. |:
I'd be more likely to get a problem reading something on a site like MangaFox. D:
But I don't read much manga these days....

You are like the dense main character in a shoujo manga.

I read online to sample, kinda like a library. If I like a work that I find, and it's been licensed, I'll go out and buy it... that way I don't feel too guilty.

I download every time. I personally hate when scantalation groups only release in online reader. Now, along with finding the release, I have to go and save each page with my computer. While, I try not to look at it to spoil the chapter. So yeah downloads for me all the way.

Mainly online
Sometimes I download a new chapter or something though 😉
Is this me in a nutshell?
Pretty much.

I read online most of the time.
I'm too lazy to download then open each image manually (since my image viewer doesn't seem to know how arrows work -.-)
I only download when I want to read some manga I love many times, or when online viewers don't have the manga I want to read. XP
You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will.
It depends.
If it's a completed manga that has like, 3 or more volumes, I'll download it instead of reading online. Reading long series on online readers is such a drag anyway, and so slow in comparison. 2 volumes or less, I'll usually find it online.
For most of the ongoing manga I follow, I usually read the latest chapter online, unless I know it wont be uploaded anywhere because it's too mature or something -__-; in which case I'll just download the chapter and delete it after I've read it.
There are a couple of ongoing series I read that I download because I know I'll read them again or something too.
So for me it's a nice mixture between the two.

Download only for me. I've tried reading online manga once or twice just to see what it was like and I couldn't stand it. I don't begrudge people who do like it, but it's not for me.

How is it faster to read manga after you have downloaded it? you will be reading it at the same speed even if you have not downloaded it..

I mainly look at sites like Batoto to see what has come out and then go download it from their site. I do read on Batoto also as the images are not shrunk down like Mangafox and most other manga aggregation sites.
There are also programs that will do the looking for you - which is a godsend if I'm following a number of manga.
Also, I always purchase works I like if they are available.
