I'm looking for a manga where the girl is not super amazingly hot (I'M LOOKING AT YOU SHOUNENS) at one point or another. So "ugly then pretty" DO NOT COUNT. Plain all the way, no beauty make-over. I don't care how her "lover" (if she has one) is. He can be super ugly for all I care. But she has to be...Just... Plain. Nothing else. No "she-thinks-she's-ugly-but-is-actually-super-hot" either.
An example I guess would be Riiko from Zettai Kareshi... Though certainly not the personality. Just the plainness theres to her... Nothing special or whatever.
Blah I can't explain.
Shoujo, josei, shounen, seinen - I don't care. D:

normal korean girl meets accidently a king.. he who does not believe in love falls in love with her.. she doesnt want him because they are to different and thinks he is only playing with her..... but he wont give up that easily...... and her only special talent is painting, but she will lose the ability to do so.... for the rest shhe is to normal for words

Bara no Tameni is perfect for what you are looking for, especially because no matter what the main girl tries she just remains a plain Jane while living in a house full of glamorous people who make fun of her for it. It has romance and a lot of other things as well. Great manga.
