Is there some manga where love happens to the more average of people.
Like overweight or a little chunky people and plain-looking or ugly people.
Manga that has love possible for these type of people.
Since 'handsome' is stereotype, I'm looking for more physically human love affair manga.

First thing that came to mind is Always Together.

My first idea was "Always together", a onestot by Makoto ISSHIKI, scanlated by Kotonoha. A girl tries to lose weight to make a boy like her... but the ending is a surprise 😉

This one might be pushing it but how about Angel Densetsu as well. I mean he is fairly "ugly", but I don't think is a normal love... maybe the parents in the story would be a good example of what you are looking for but their story is in like the 10th volume.

Uh no? one of the girls is a model from japan and the other, while initially being a dork of sorts is easily transformed into a girl pretty enough to have her classmates comment on it.

hana yori dango The girl in it is pretty plain. Classic poor girl in a rich highschool theme. Its rather long though and near the end you get the feeling it should have ended sooner than it did but they forced it to keep going.. 🤣 Still a decent read.
