The Ending ???
hitomi no catoblepas, belmonde le visiteur, double arts, blue dragon.... why must they always cancel the good series before they even get to a chance of getting popular, it takes time to present the story and characters and start advancing the storyline, where things get interesting, i mean katekyo hitman reborn had 8 volumes who where shit before getting good... >:-(

wow..... i read this forum, and i seriously thought this was a joke.
i already read chapter 23, did not realize that it was the "final chapter" in any way shape or form... i have actually been looking forward to the next chapter....
like seriously, thats not even an ending, ive seen more complete endings between manga volumes...

okay, now i am really pissed. I didn't even realize that was the last chapter, and i was starting to get into this manga. oh well, at least it is not a definitive ending and can get picked back up later...at least i can hope.

oh man!! Why did this happen!? first it was mx0 then dogashi kaden now this!? they really are pouching my reading lists!
Wow I didn't even realise that was Dogashi Kadens last chapter....
Haha, wow, i same here. didn't even know that i read the last chapter of Dogashi Kaden. I just thought the scanlators were taking their time to release the next chapter.
Well back to the main point. I believe that Kiri dies since Elle is writing about his journey. Nice ending, I really thought of dropping this manga like twice then i found out that it was completed so I read the last 6 chapters which I had left to read. And i just have to say that I simply loved these last chapters. Great manga and i love tragic endings. I give this a 9/10.

Im usually ok with tragedy, as long as it doesn't mess with my fave character, which would be the case in this manga cause kiri is pretty cool 😛 I hope the implied death that the author gives is just a way to keep readers hooked and make them want to read it to see what happens (that is if the author continues this series) 😢
From the manga: Good Luck, Demon King!
I refuse - well rather don't like - to believe that the author intended a tragic ending, not in a story like this with characters like those... But I am curious...
How many believe that Kiri dies 😕 😕

Wow. I just realized the girl writing looked like Elle. 🤣 And even if Kiri died, he accomplished his mission. Since Elle is alive, that means Troi is also gone?

Double arts is a great manga. if it turned into an anime than the fight scenes would look awsome
too bad there wouldn't be many fights to be amazed by =/
I agree with both of you saying that if this would become an anime i believe the artwork would be very interesting and stunning compared to the typical artwork that most have these days. I trully believe if they somehow made even and OVA of Double Arts then the manga would definetly get picked up again. The storyline is just to interesting to have it just end.

some of these magazines are losing face to me right now..... it was crap when they did it to Mx0 now this.... i swear if not for Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece they'd go under, doing what their doing now.
I know right? it takes time for mangas to get good. when i read Mx0 and read ch.99 i was so piss off on the ending they need to get their shit together. they can't just asume that a manga would get high ratings on the firs few weeks or first year. AAHHHHHHH this pisses me off so much..

While I agree that Double Arts was a manga cut down before it had a chance to bloom into something awesome, blaming the mags is wrong. Every so often they have a poll where, well you call them fans, I call them narutards, vote on their favorite series. The one at the bottom gets cut. Guess which one it was.
So it's not the mags, it's the "fans" who couldn't recognize a good manga if it slapped them in the face.

0__0 didn't know the manga got cut. When the girl changed clothes, i was like "Wow...is the author trying to put in some fan service?" lol. Honestly speaking, i stopped reading this for a while 'cuz i thought the plot was unraveling rather slow. I picked it up again recently and read straight through to 23 and was happy the the story was 'moving'. Hopefully the author will continue it somewhere else.
As a business, SJ has to folow "majority rules" and i don't think it fair to blame the fans either. Don't make it sound like it's the fault of "fans" or "narutards" that they choose their fav manga over yours.

I was quite sad that it ended. I think the fault rests mostly with the fans, but there are other things that probably affected it too, so I don't place all the blame on the polls.

That's what sucks about series that are serialized in Japan. There are so many people competing, especially in Shonen Jump since they're well-known and at the top. I know it doesn't seem fair that they drop it and serialize something else if it wasn't voted enough for in the polls. Business is sometimes a dog-eat-dog world, especially in Japan.
