I'm looking for another manga like beach stars or bamboo blade. Not one about only girls more the light hearted going for the goal type manga. Kinda of shounenish I guess. meh. I don't know how to describe it, i'm looking for the feeling you get from em.

If you aren't picky about art, Angel Densetsu is a good choice. Rappi Rangai is pretty good if your looking for something with more fan service. Aiki would be good if you like the much more perverted stuff. All martial arts to a certain extent. If your just looking for something light and funny, you can't beat Chii's sweet home.

Aqua and Aria might be good choices, though they aren't at all sports, I think it should be the lighthearted lackadaisical environment you're looking for.

Well, I think that maybe Rubbers 7 gives the same feeling, more close to Bamboo blade though. Only thing is it isn't shounenish.

Nodame Cantabile seems to fit the bill? If you haven't read it I thoroughly recommend it. Most of the series is light hearted and drama-free. The majority of the characters in the series have a goal concerning classical music.
