i have to do something about this...
Milhawk seriously laughed which is nice... By Oda's way of things, he will shown the training and various past that will tell what/how their acquired their new powers.
I hope luffy will change, somehow grow more taller and Okama Sanji 😀

i already feel empty inside when i see that authors decide to take a week off to "collect data" but now i really dont know what to do. the excitement of our crew in two years in four weeks is just too much. i may just cry

Come on guys! What's with this depressing posts. We already dealt with monthly manga like Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, Claymore and many others (and don't forget Berserk). So instead of being depressed let's just wait patiently and look forward to the next chapter, since we all know that Oda-sensei will never disappoint us. 😀

Awesome chapter, and i'd really like to see the traning arcs, but as always with One Piece, either training-related stuff is never shown (ex. how the hell luffy adquired his Gear Second? it's never shown, he only did...ok..ok..that movie cameo, but in the end how he thought of that or the Gear Third? it's never shown), or they will use the always useful-panel-filler flashbacks XD
Anyway, awesome chapter. I wanna see luffy kicking asses with Haki, and maybe inventing something like "Gear Fourth" or most likely "Gear Final" (cause sounds better) using Haki-stuff.

Exactly, a month isn't THAT long. Everyone is making it out to be some type of harsh torture or an unbearable amount of time but honestly, the wait will only make the next chapter of one piece all that much sweeter. I'm totally looking forward to seeing the changes everyone has made in two years. I bet that Luffy will be proficient in the color of conquerors and the other two will be hard for him to pick up or some quirk like that. I'm most excited about Zoro becoming even more BADASS and Robin learning from Dragon's crew, she's going to wipe the floor with everyone. This new chapter is going to be friggin awesome. I love how the story has progressed and this is one of the manga that I follow weekly which I actually look forward to reading.

It's because we've been spoiled with the weekly release of One Piece. 😀
One Piece is my favorite, so it's the only series where I'm tortured by waiting one week. Seriously, I read the spoilers on Tuesday, and then I read the scanlation on Thursday.
Yeah, I was surprised to see Mihawk and Zoro laugh/smile too. I can't wait to see everyone's power-up in four weeks.

I hope Oda gives us like a 50 page chapter by the end of this long break. Even though a One Piece chapter takes like 5 minutes for me to read, it feels like it consumes a whole week. Probably since it's quality satisfies me to such an extent.

Another awesome chapter by Oda
A little sad that it will be 4 weeks but Oda needs a break
While reading the chapter and listening to rayleighs explanations on haki, I realized that Zoro has already used a bit of haki before when he was able to slice through steel and defeat Mr. 1.
Zoro was able to sense the presence of the steel to cut through it
offensive type of haki for zoro through his sword.
wonder if the other strawhats will obtain haki in their own way

We never got a bounty update on Luffy 🙁
I'm betting the new arc will start off with some people causing trouble for a town or something. And then one of the strawhats will step in and beat down the high ranked bounty easily.

Now that it is confirmed that Haki can be used to nullify DF powers
Does anybody know why Blackbeard went after his Yami Yami no Mi, if he could use haki to beat DF users?
Or why Ace was surprised when Blackbeard grabbed him? Instead of thinking that it was "just" Haki?
