i was nervous at first it was big & long & went straight up i had to try it i eased onto it & liked it! i went up & down on it.... i love escalators now! 😀

well first off Uryu > Mayuri was when Uryu snapped his gauntlet and went into ultimate quincy mode. Mayuri didnt beat Szayel Aporro Granz in power, just in intelligence, Uryu and Renji aren't as intelligence as the mad scientist. Mayuri simply tricked Szayel into absorbing the wierd medicine..plus Mayuri also upgraded himself. And also i dont remeber renji > uryu

after Kenpachi's fight with Ichigo, weren't they bitching about him not knowing its name. and afterwards he learns it, or atleast its implied that he will

i've been noticing it for a while. in the soul society he was very powerful but since then its like "dam, he could have defeated that one" but no.

yes hes getting weaker
he was able to defeat zaraki without bankai and hollow
then zaraki comes and defeats noitorra who ichigo couldn't

meh uryu has gotten much stronger since then, so i dont consider that as proof of anything.
At that time ichigo was defeated by byakuga in mere seconds.

Also it was never implied that kenpachi learned his zanpaktou's name, he asked what it was and there was complete silence, he then said something dejected and it was then implied from yachirou's cries that he had died...of course a few chapters later he was shown to be living and well..

This is what happens when a mangaka falls into the cycle of powerups and poweredup villains. He has to looks for unsensible deux ex machinas to keep the drama flowing.

Though frankly, Ichigo should never have beaten Kenpachi in the first place. Seeing as how Kenpachi then proceeded to take on two captains and come out victorious. Basically Kenpachi wasn't really serious until that final bout, and then the entire fight was all about who had a stronger ... uhh.. whatever its called... Aura =.. haven't read bleach in a while. -.-' ... So it wasn't even really a fight at that point.. But I still think that the entire Captains showing up thing has been pretty BSed. Especially since the captains were supposedly weaker than the Arrancar.. And the fact that the Arrancar are supposed to be stronger in Hueco Mundo (sp) than elsewhere anyway...

It reminds me of Frieza some reason powering up after being half-destroyed (because we all know that the metal bits in him were stronger than how he was before -eye roll-. As if metal can help you blow up planets.)

I can see that many people are willing to accept the "captains got stronger" view.
That is most likely just what is happening, but it really feels out of place IMO. If it was that easy to just become stronger after having achieved the pinnacle of power (bankai), then why in the world did the mangaka even bother with the hollowfication thing...

I guess the whole turn hollow thing was Aizen's fault, but it feels sort of dull because at first the turning hollow charade was supposed to make the person strong with cool new powers.... and yet Ichigo turns hollow but the captains he smoked a few months (manga time) ago are as strong if not stronger than him.

Makes me wonder if Hirako and his Vizard gang are just cannon fodder... (or at best on par with the captains).

All I want at this point is for Ichigo to get destroyed by Ulquiorra and I want to see his inner hollow (the white Ichigo) take over and just completely butcher a bunch of Aizen's crew. (note: Ichigo turning hollow was turning him into a beast when he trained with Vizards but maybe now after he got the mask, when he "turns" hollow the white guy can come out instead)
That white Ichigo guy always does the coolest moves.

Yeah, the inner hollow version of Ichigo was always better and stronger than the normal Ichigo. Ichigo always got lucky or had help. In retrospect, it was really Ichigo's inner hollow that beat Byakuya since it was the inner hollow who first used the black Getsuga Tenshou and turned the tide of that battle. And Yoruichi and Hanatarou did say that if not for his hollow mask, Ichigo would probably be dead by now from the wounds he got from Zaraki and Renji. Now that Ichigo has overcome his hollow, his hollow never helps in times of dire need, especially given how strong a vaizard is initially. As for the captains, I guess you can attribute it to the arrancar they faced being waaay to cocky and underestimating what their opponents are capable of.
