My top 2 favorite mangas of all time are Mx0 by KANO Yasuhiro, Pretty Face by KANO Yasuhiro.
but the ending is ruined when with Rush ending/ axed it.
SWOT by SUGITA Naoya and Zombie Powder by KUBO Tite would have been fantastic but they ended it horribly.
Thoe I don’t think they have much choice in the matter. but it be cool if later on they could create an add on series like an alternate ending sort of thing where they could of continued the series like they Originally wanted the story to be.
Even great manga have to fear the ax.
I know ShadowSakura i could read Futaba-kun Change for a long time as well. but the ending made my eyes bleed. I can't see the hidden Categories becase im on a falty school computer but i know its thair.
Its always the really good mangas that get axed TTT_TTT

True, that. Even Mx0 got axed. That was one of the few stories I actually liked.

I didn't even know Pretty Face was rushed to the end! I just thought it was a lame ending. Shame, the ending really ruined the series for me.

ya most times when it just ends quickly like that then it was most likely axed. im not gonna say that it is the reason for all of them when they end like that but i would say most of the ones that i read that have ended like that were axed.

I think it would annoy pretty much anyone. I just try not to get too attached to one specific manga, then it doesn't bother me much if it ends abruptly because I have tons of other manga waiting in line.

I don't know if Psyren counts since it wasn't officially axed but it's clear that the higher ups made the mangaka rush the ending because the story was building for something a lot more epic and longer.
It really pissed me off but I just pretend that I forget the ending because it is still my favorite manga.

Of course I hate it, who doesn't?
People might say that as long as the rest of the story was good, who cares so much what happens in the final few chapters, but the ending of a series is what ties everything up and gives the reader closure on the characters and the story. If I liked the plot/characters, I'm going to be disappointed at not being able to spend longer with them, and disappointed that they didn't get a proper, carefully-thought out ending.
(I agree with ShadowSakura: Nononono getting axed before Nono could get anywhere near making it to the Olympics--which was the point of the series!--is a total, major bummer. I really liked that manga, too!)

Air Gear isn't axed yet though...
Akaboshi - Ibun Suikoden had a lot of potential. I still don't see why they axed it like Mx0 and Double Arts which were amazing.
Though honestly, there were some that I knew were going to be axed because they just weren't that appealing, like Lock on! and SWOT
