do you know any manga where the mc is afraid of being abandon. It doesnt have to show from the start. It can be showed in the middle of the story. maybe something happen that makes him/her remember the abandonment. I know there is a tag for abandonment, but i want to know manga where the mc is not only being abandon but also has a trauma because of it

the manga can be shoujo, shonen, shounen ai, yaoi but i dont read yuri and shoujo ai
also it can be about adventure manga and the problem start in the middle of the journey

thankyouuuu 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

I read romance manga, so the below recommendations are mostly (if not all) are romance or at least have romantic elements. Most of them are related to fear of abandonment from ONE person.

Abide In The Wind (Webtoon. Fantasy/Adventure with romance)
Ongoing scanlation. The plot doesn't solely revolve around romance, but the romance aspect is strong. The male lead is a dragon, who over time becomes attached to the female mc. It is pretty clear that his worst nightmare is if she leaves him. No trauma here though.

Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii (Fantasy-Adventure Romance)
Ongoing. It's about a young king who marries a princess from another kingdom. The king has a dark past which he keeps from the princess, because he's terrified that she'll leave him. There's a trauma involved, though the impact is not very direct in my opinion.

He even threatened that he will kill her family if she tried to leave him.

Bastard (HWANG Youngchan) (Thriller with romance)
Ongoing webtoon, which is updated every Monday. It's about a boy who is the accomplice of a murderer - and that murderer is his father. One day, his father decided that his new target is a girl whom the MC has a crush on. The MC desperately tries to hide the truth of him being an accomplice from the girl. One of my favorite webtoons, very suspenseful and psychological. No direct trauma, he's just really scared that girl will leave him if she knows the truth. Romance is not the main aspect, but is a strong element.

Also, I did some searching and it seems that Oyasumi Punpun might suit your criteria - it's seinen though.

Hope I helped~

Nanairo Kakumei

Not the mc actually, but another character who is afraid to be abandoned by the mc.

She is a yandere and making the mc doesn't have anything but her .

Warning: Not for weak hearts

Maybe Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou? It doesn't show up right away but plays a significant roll later in the series.
3-gatsu no Lion could fit, less afraid of being abandoned and more just dealing with the loss and fallout from his childhood/current reality.

In Taiyou no Ie both the MC's parents divorce and both remarry suddenly, leaving the MC feeling left out in the cold. She runs to the house of some childhood friends who have recently moved back into town after having left because their parents died.

I won't give away the twist but Kami-sama ga Uso o Tsuku. deals with this subject, short but good.

Usagi Drop is about an abandoned child, and the distant relative that takes her in.

I'd argue Noragami. It is not obvious at first,

but Yato is a victim of emotional abuse from his father. what's more do to the somewhat unique nature of his existence he is afraid that if anything happens to his scumbag of a father he will literally disappear. So even if he is not outright afraid of being abandoned anymore, he still has severe emotional issues that all steam from this.
