dude is your family like mega traditional and rich because those are the only types that force those kinda arranged marriage. the typical arranged marriage is more like an omai you go to a marriage broker he shows you pictures of single men/women you guys then set up a meeting see how you like the other person and if your parents like them. if dont like them you can always say no; not that you always can because of honor, tradition, and parents. but even thats kinda going down these days for things are getting incredibly modern with the internet and all.

anyways my advice for you is atleast talk to the girl once through the phone or something.

My family however always asks if I have a boyfriend. In all honesty though my family always worries about the females getting knocked up before actually going to college its been a recent trend in my family...

My family usually doesn't bother asking me, they usually just ask about my sister's long-term boyfriend and then change the topic to politics or the weather or where my globe-trotting grandparents are.

yeah, my parents were kind of like this, specially my mom. always nagging me about marriage and such. man, those endless discussion were driving me nuts. no wonder I am still single. I am not saying that I don't like marriage but it is just not my thing. I am more relaxed to be free and on my own. I am happier this way and it seems it will be like this for the rest of my life. ^__^

That's one of the reasons why I don't cook~ 🤣

My grammy is pretty set on me getting married. She married young, my mum and uncles married young... so I guess she thinks I should marry young. Even tries to set me up every time I come home. 🤢 Which I do everything to avoid if possible... or I'll go and wear something like sweatpants so I'll look like a grunge and they'll leave me the hell alone. 🤣 Doesn't always work... but eh. Though, I at least have my grandda and my uncles on my side... cause I'm their only girl, so they're pretty overprotective and kind of have a complex towards me and aren't ready to let me go yet.
But, I think it all narrows down to wanting grandkids... and hoping like my mom I'll have a female as well (my mum and I are the only females born in the family)... but I keep telling her that I don't need to get married if she wants a grandchild that badly... just need a sperm donor. 🤣 (She doesn't really care for that reply too much. 🤢 )

hhmm I never get that from relatives... My Dad has from time to time brought up the topic but that was to tell me to fuck around and have lots of fun while I am young and leave settling down till later. Advice I intend to follow 🙂
