Well, now that I re-think it all, Bleach has at least one arc left. Which really sucks, cause I love it so much. ;D

If D.Gray-Man ends soon, there'd be a lot of anger from fans; that series is nowhere near where it should end. On the broader topic, perhaps a lot of those series are ending soon, but a lot of other well-known series - like One Piece; isn't that the most famous or best-selling manga in Japan or something - aren't, and you can bet that other manga (which may be only moderately famous or not well-known at all at the moment) will rise to fame when the positions are open. When only a few "big" shounen manga are left and nothing is replacing them, well, then we can discuss this sort of thing.

But look at reborn. it was kind of a joke series till midway through it became an unstoppable juggernaut of awesome. jump is also losing some of it bigger titles and reborn is clearly meant to take naruto's place (sasuke fangirls are converted to rebornism). so its just a matter of some good series getting out enough chapters to become classics.

I'm not so sure about those endings. Sure, it would be nice to see some manga coming to an end, but it won't happen. Definitely not with Bleach. Kubo Tite will keep it going, for at least next 2 years, I think.
But I observed a rise in new shounen manga - Psyren, Persona 3, Kure-nai to name a few - a lot of people seem interested in them now, a new 'wave', it seems.
And yeah, if D.Gray-man ends in near future, I'll be one of those dissapointed fans 😐 It NEEDS more chapters.

Naruto and Bleach are such garbage it's amazing that anyone older than 13 years old reads that shit. To answer the question, NO, it's not an end of a era. There was never a era to begin with. Maybe a era off stupidity where a huge portion of manga readers degenerated themselves into loving long stupid fight scenes with tiny bits of mediocre story.
