from what i hear from my science professor...
the more closer characteristics to a human being, the more of a taboo it is to kill the animal i was heard....
yet every culture is different... some say the more its reflected off their beliefs or religion, the more the taboo...
some say intelligence, some are physical appearance...
what do you believe in?

Voted "other" because I don't think it's ok to kill any animal for food etc., other than in exceptional circumstances. (Yes, I'm vegetarian, and no, I don't buy leather or other dead animal products.)

Picking one feels like I'm saying it's right to kill the others which isn't. Animals are too dear to me. 😢

I'd feel the same either way. I can't pick one. Though I hold cats and reptiles very dear to my heart since I own many.

That's how it goes in my country. And given the options it'd be taboo to kill dogs rather than gorillas, monkeys, etc. Since dogs learn how to adapt to our environment quicker than other species and are considered as loyal, if not more, than humans.

I don't think it's wrong to kill animals for our benefits. Feel free to kill them if you are in need.

I voted other. If you need to kill an animal and are gonna use all of it then thats okay. Thats what they're here for.

I believe... its not right to kill animals unless its for food.

Just be sure to use all of the animal. That's the least you can do after ending its life.

One more thing, responsible hunting is key to preserving natural balance.

I would say every one is wrong to kill unless you are in such a situation you will die if you don't eat and only thing you have in front of you is an edible animal. Yeah, I know it would be like being vegetarian is the best choice, but I don't kill the meat I eat, so I think it's ok (yeah, just trying to find a justificative xD)

Definitely either for food or just plain survival I say yes its ok to kill, but as far as killing animals at random or without purpose is just wrong. (I think hunting is ok as long as you plan to use the animal for something) 😃

When it comes down to it, it's wrong to kill all animals unless you're getting attacked / starving to death. A lot of people don't know how to kill an animal for food so I wouldn't suggest you do this because it would backfire. Anyway, I picked "dolphins, whales, etc..." because there's something really wrong about getting on a boat and hunting some poor creature that doesn't even live on land...What'd they ever do to you? 😔

It is fine to kill something if you intend to make full use of it, such as for food. I don't agree with killing animals just for their fur however.

It is not fine to kill anything for fun (that includes hunting, whether you end up using the animal or not).
And never, ever an animal on an endangered species list.

Personally, I think killing *any *animal for a purpose other than eating (or using the whole animal entirely) is wrong.

I find it perfectly fine to kill any animal. And you only need a good reason to kill it when that animal is a human.

i dont think its even right to kill ANY animal.
but if its absolutely necessary,something like surviving,then i think its fine. but to go gor animal hunting for fun,or for fashion..then its a no-no :/
however,theres also animal-testing.im not sure whether to agree to it or not.
