well just wondering how people would like to fall if the would fall or trip...

if i would trip i want it to be sideward right cause i believe that it has more of a dramatic effect and then in movies people always break your fall from the side...

Forwards of course, it's more easy to protect yourself

Backward, landing on your butt isn't as dangerous as landing using your hands (wrists can get screwed up).

I vote forward, just so if someone's in front of me they can cushion my fall...

Well like liria say, that's a good way to fall, at most you have some scratch but nothing much.

I've done that before, but I would still prefer backwards. There is less of a chance of hurting my back if I land on my butt, than if I brace myself with, or land on, my arm/shoulder/hip/wrist. Not to mention, if the roll isn't done properly, the neck can get messed up pretty badly. I'd rather not take that chance again.

The people who voted for "forward" don't know how painful it can be. 🤢 If we're talking about a smooth surface, then sure. But I'm thinking more about dirt roads covered with pebbles or other harsh roads. Ouch.

well when i play football with friend on hard ground, it don't hurt that much when i fall forward ( just a little : )
And anyway i depend how you fall, like falling backward, one time i fall on the neck like that.
