It's been 5 years since the last 'are you part of a scanlation group' poll, perhaps time for another one?

Are you part of a scanlation team?
Yes
No because I don't want to
I'd like to but I don't have time
I'd like to but I'm not sure or don't know how. (Get over to Recruitment!!)
I'm a retired scanlator. I've put in my time, now I enjoy the work of others.
No, but I do fansubs

Suggestion 7 - (Haven't seen this when I skimmed through the old polls)

If your life was a manga what genre would it be?

Action/Martial Arts/Sports
Adult/Mature
Adventure
Comedy
Drama
Fantasy/Sci-fi/Mecha/Supernatural
Gender Bender
Harem
Hentai/Ecchi/Smut
Horror
Mystery
Psychological
Romance
School Life
Shoujo/Josei
Shounen/Seinen
Tragedy
Yaoi/Yuri

(hmmm a lot of options... even after I merged some genres into one group.)

I know we've had something similar before. This time around it isn't only about the personal taste in art style vs the storyline's importance; it's about the art's vs the language's contribution to the narration:

How do you like the story in a manga to be conveyed?

 • Through drawings. Expressive art is a must!
 • Through words. Strong narration and dialogue keep a manga going.
 • I don't care as long as the story is conveyed in an understandable way.

"Stories are what death thinks he puts an end to.
He can't understand that they end in him, but they don't end with him."

 • Ursula K. Le Guin, Gifts

To be savoured:

 • Blood Alone by TAKANO Masayuki
 • Otoyomegatari by MORI Kaoru
 • Gangsta. by Kohske
 • Seishun Kouryakuhon by AKIZUKI Sorata

With books (all kinds, not only manga) you are the...

 • Library type: borrow them
 • Hoarder type: buy them but don't read them
 • Caring type: read and keep them with utmost care
 • Crazy type: buy and re-read them till they fall apart
 • Giver type: mainly buy to give them as gifts

Music tracks in webtoons:

-They are great. Always listen to them.
-Sometimes listen to them.
-Rarely listen to them.
-Don't like music while reading.
-Bad idea. Unneeded.

I'm not satisfied with the five options I came up with. Feel free to suggest alternatives. Anyway, if this hasn't already been chosen as a topic, I think asking about music tracks in webtoons is a good idea.

I know there has been a few chatterbox age polls, but the recent 'last 5 years' site polls has me wondering about the average age of MU users so I was wondering if we could have a more official site poll since they tend to get more votes.
I guess a generic "How old are you?"
Under 10
10-13
13-16
17-20
21-25
25-30
30-40
40-50
50+
Something like that, with more categories for the teenage years as I suspect they will be the majority.

Fine... why not?

If not done before for sure :

Which are you most likely going to do if a new manga from a mangaka you like has started to release?

 • Read it first!
 • Read the description and if you like it, then read it.
 • Let the manga have a few more chapter and then read it.
 • If it gets popular, then read it.
 • I don't have any favourite mangaka!

I don't know if it's too narrow or not but...
Are you a closet otaku or an outspoken otaku?

Another one is:
What are you most active hours?

 • Wee hours (1am-5am)
 • Early Bird (5am-10am)
 • Lunch Time (10am- 2pm)
 • Afternoon (2pm-6pm)
 • Evening (6pm-10pm)
 • Night Owl (10pm-1am)

Do you consider yourself an otaku.

 • Absolutely
 • Yes, but other people aren't aware of it
 • To a certain extent, yes
 • Definitely not
 • I guess I'm in denial
 • No, but others do
 • What's an otaku?

If you were a villain from a manga what kind would you be?

 • A Destroyer: The one that wants to destroy the world

 • A Ruler: The one that wants to rule everyone in the world

 • A Chaos Forger: The one that wants to throw the world in chaos

-** An Inverse**: The one that tries to do evil things but ends up doing good things. (failing so much instead of doing bad you do good)

 • A Strategic: The one that's always ten steps ahead of the hero

 • A Secretive: The one that has so many underlings that no one suspect you're the villain. (underlings that have underlings that have underlings, where only 2 know who you are. Maybe like Keyser Söze) Oh maybe change it to the Keyser Söze villain?

 • A Brute: The one that has immense physical strength to strongarm your way to the top.

 • A Terrorizer: The one that is so fearsome that the mention of your name invokes hysteria in others.

Errrr I feel like I'm forgetting a few types, but this is all I can think of right now ... I'll try to think of more
