ever get income from the manga/anime world?
i work in manga/anime industry
i sell my old collections / merchandise
i never get any money from them
On average, do you tend to skip anime opening/ending themes?
I only skip openings
I only skips endings
I watch both
I skip both
I don't watch anime
I only tend to rate/comment on series that are either really good or really bad, unless I'm bored.
I'm stating this so that you know: I am not one of those people who always rates things ten or one, ignoring all numbers inbetween. Therefore, in that aspect, my ratings are trustworthy. ^^

Adding two more options to this suggestion ...
- I watch it once then skip the openings/endings
- I watch it until it get gets tiring.
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos

What sexist trope in manga bothers you the most?
- the always patronizing "but you're a girl!"
- objectification
- falling in love with their rapist (without serious consideration of what stockholm syndrome actually entails)
- harassment being ok because she's just "playing hard to get"
- "All women..."
- sexual assault and/or rape being portrayed as a joke
- damsel in distress with no agency
- girl solely exists to be the love interest of the main male lead
- troop of overly jealous/vain/cruel fangirls who exist solely to bully others
- madonna/whore dichotomy
- what? sexism still exists?

If you were a manga translator and you realize you've mistranslated the kanji of a major character's name, how would you correct it?
-Re-do all the chapters with that name in it
-Add a correction notice on the next chapter and start using the correct kanji reading from there on
-Start using the proper name, but act as if nothing happened
-Try to hide my mistake and keep using my version of the name for as long as I can
If you were a manga translator and you've spelled the romaji of a character's name a certain way, but much later you find that the official artwork/merchandise spells it a different way, what would you do?
-Start using the official spelling
-Keep using my version of the spelling
-Use whichever version the fans are more comfortable with

Where do you prefer TL notes?
-Directly on the page's margins
-On a separate page after the last page
-I would prefer no TL notes at all
If I've made a thread in the "I'm Looking For..." forum, I am only interested in Japanese manga. I am not interested in non-Japanese media at this time.
