the guy vote was devided into 3 (hentai+shounen+seinen) while the girl vote(+the trap/homo) went into shoujo/Yoai thus yoai won....

the only 3.5 up there is shonen ai, that was included in his calculations. it was hentai (12.1) + lolicon (5%) + shotacon (1.2%) + yaoi (20.6%) + yuri (5%). that does equal 47.4. I just forgot to include loli and shota in mine earlier.

I'm female and I didn't vote for yaoi. xDD Heck, I don't mind its existence and I even read some, but I think winning this poll is overrating it way over the top, so it's kind of sad that it did. Once again, my fear of fangirl power is confirmed. xD

Personally, my vote went to shounen, because for some reason our childish Gary Stu populated demographic is what gets my interest the quickest. I guess it's the kind of humor in it that I like the most out of all.

But you're wrong, yaoi and yuri are not categories of hentai. At all. Manga with explicit sex scenes don't have to be pornographic.

There is, however, a kind of gay hentai called "bara manga".
