I do. But stretching a scene that happened in manga isn't really filler to me. You got to expect that to happen (although it was a bit much sometimes...not as bad as captain tsubasa though).
Filler for me is when they add stuff that never happened in the manga (unless it's cool, then I can live with it). Like Goku and Piccolo learning how to drive for example.
And they didn't fill 200 episodes with stuff like that. That's what I meant.

I hope they don't cut out too much of the story... well I wouldn't care if they let stuff out like the Garlic Jr. saga though xD

^IIRC, wasn't the Garlic Jr. saga a complete filler saga anyway?
In any case, being the huge DBZ fan I am, I will watch the subs, and I'll probably buy the DVD's when Funamation releases them.

The thing you call stretching is worse then normal fillers imo. Hate it when they spend 10 episodes on something that could take 5sec, like loading a spirit bomb for example.

They filled at least 100 with that. and another 100 were just pure filer episodes.

Hmm... I wonder how much feeding it through a digital/modern filter will change it. I've heard that they aren't redrawing, they're going to clean it up a little but I haven't a clue about the music, even the OP is a mystery.
I'll check it out but I do not have high expectations.

Oh man I REALLY hope they have a REALLY big budget for the animation. It would be so awesome if every episode is Gundam 00 quality.

Seems like it's going to cut a lot of story out.
To me it seems like the only thing they will be cutting is the long powering up and the all that talking before the kick ass fights. That and fillers.

if they eventually dub it in english i hope the english voice actors are the same too...
(yeah, i like the DBZ dub better then japanese, now you guys can all pounce on me...)

I like the english dub too (either one actually since there is both funimation and oceans group - funimation had better music, oceans had better voice actors... for the most part).
As for the japanese voices... I cannot stand Goku's voice. Sounds way too whiney for a hero of his caliber.

That's some good news. I'm glad that they are willing to cut all the unecessary stuff (and omg there is a lot). Besides, the french Goku really pisses me off and i've always found that the japanese female Goku rocks 😀

That's right. Japanese with subtitles is the only way to do it

I started watching DBZ dubbed and the first time I tried watching a subbed episodes I couldn't last 5 minutes, The japanese voice for Goku was just so wrong.

I have admit...for once, I prefer the English fandub over the Japanese fandub.
