Oh wow, I got excited over nothing...
I was under the impression that there was going to be brand new animation of dragon ball z, not just some minor tweaks and HD.

Aw man. I'm disppointed that Japan is gonna crop the picture to make it widescreen like funimation did. I was hoping they'd keep it fullscreen. I kinda don't wanna watch it now. =(

thx and its DBZ yeaaaa 😀 , i love DBZ and my fav saga is Cell saga cuz Gohan goes SS2...he was my fav. character until he went homo wit "Great Sayaman?!" and it killed his character i believe.

Omg! That's my most fav arc too! When I first read Dragon ball, I honestly didnt expect that Cell saga is related to the android saga. Akira's a GENIUS!
The anime version of this arc totally destroyed everything, especially the long-a** unnecessary fillers in between the cell games and time hyperbolic chamber.... I'm so glad the revised version will wiped out most of those filler episodes..
as for the great saiyaman..I agree.. >__<;; but actually the Greatest disaster that has ever happened in Dragonball is the Existence of Dragonball GT. It destroyed EVERYTHING, not just the characters but the consistency and accuracy of the plot..

the android saga turns into Cell saga rite cuz he eats them...well some of them expect 18
i didnt like the fillers either inbetween the Cell Games, hated the great saiyaman part the most, the whole thing jus destory Gohan...u kno i mean how can supposed strongest character(if i remember correctly everyone thought he was the strongest cuz he went SS2 rite) be so homo wit tht crap....and i in someway do agree GT killed the series wit unbelievable power modes...but SS4 looked kool lol, i like the fusion too but i jus really hated great saiyaman and also Vedel, she was jus stupid wit her stupid a$$ dad, u gotta agree he was not needed at all

LOL, and the anime makes it even more LAME-er than the Saiyaman in the manga. The idea that videl and gohan will 'join forces' as masked heroes is just plain stupid. As for Gohan being a weak teenager after the 7 year skip, I guess his character development is blamed on Akira himself.
But still, it gives comic relief to the manga after the previous sagas. 😛
As for GT, the ending ruins ALL. And the movie sequel on the 100 YEAR OLD Pan and Goku Jr is arguably the worst anime sequel ever produced.
Let's just not give too much expectations on the revised anime, but I do hope that they will closely follow the manga plot as it was stated in the article.

hell yea the anime verison of saiyaman jus destroyed, burned, and buried Gohan's character...i mean come on wats up wit those GAY poses, when i seen them im like wtf is tht...and like noooooooooooo why Gohan, why throughout it....and after cell games and 7 year passed Gohan becomes weak and gay imo.
GT jus went overboard wit SS levels, and i dont remember much bout the movie sequel...is it called something like Great Hero or somthing...lol...yea i totally agree im jus gonna see it cuz its the first anime i ever watched and its my fav. so ima jus watch it in HD lol...see kamahamaha in HD yea lol 🤣
