ahh..... the awkward silence 😀
they both reeks of lies.. one must sacrifice himself to create the perfect seal while the other one must fight against the most powerful landgod, yet both of them still comforted each other as if not a slightest bad thing gonna happen...-_-
what i'm trying to say is that both of them act way too mature for their age..... adult..young shouldn't repress oneself too much... it's bad for your mental growth.....
Actually, I liked the awkward silence because it proved that they are no longer "just childhood friends" or " brother-sister" type of pair. Before, Tokine would've come and punched Yoshimori, tease him and stuff but now she acknowledges his maturity and the awkwardness felt really natural. And there were no lies, Yoshi comforted Tokine because he knew she wasnt okay.

apparently my previous post gives the wrong impression.... or not... i'm not sure...
i like the silence awkward too, hence the smiley..
i'm not opposing the self-repressing that they did.. i'm saying that it gives a very notable hint that both of them have become adult even though they're still young.. hence the final word 'adult' on that line..
and yes, the more a person grown the more he/she will repress him/herself.. especially when that person got family of his/her own, which is why when your still young you shouldn't repress too much
