A couple of days ago I was ranting about how so many mangas repeat the same stupid cliches over and over. And then suddenly I had a fun idea: How would Japan look like if reality was as depicted in mangas?
That is how I came with the idea of #mangajapanfacts. Here are a few ones I tough of to get the ball rolling.
- The average male height in Japan is 190cm.
- 40% of Japanese people will get involved in a car accident, fall in a coma and probably suffer from amnesia at least once in their lifetime.
- In Japan there is at least one idol in each school classroom.
- 25% of women in Japan will marry a company CEO.
- 20% of Japanese people is orphan.
- Japan has the world best athletes in every sport in existence.

- 50% of Japanese people get colds after standing in the rain for 20 min
- 80% of rich Japanese men are also insanely good-looking
- 50% of attractive Japanese males have insane female fans tagging after them
- 15% of Japanese girls are insane female fans
- 20% of Japanese people meet their spouse via falling on them

This is followed by the fact that 95% of all colds lead to the person in question being completely helpless and limited to lying in the futon and being miserable. Fever = half-dead and delirious.
99% of collisions between members of the opposing sexes lead to involuntary/accidental groping and/or panty flashing and in the case of groping, 75% of the time there will be a squeeze or two.

Women in Japan would have the largest breasts of any country anywhere with the average cup size being DDD, but thats including all the flat chested girls. 60% would have GGs and 35% would be flat chested, leaving the rest in the middle.
Japan would have the murder rate to rival the bad side of Chicago.
Guys would envy otaku for all the girls they're surrounded by, similarly to Western guys and gays.
Foreigners would come to Japan actually speaking Japanese.
90% of Europeans would be blonds, and would envy the Japanese for all the funky hair colors they have.
Guys would have no chest, leg, or arm hair, (unless they were very very manly of course).
Japan would be half wiped out because, every plague, war, natural disaster or alien invasion would strike there.
The Japanese milita and police would still use swords because clearly they're equally or more effective than guns.

I swear, so many people on this site are so full of themselves. A lot seem to think they always have an "intelligent and/or logical" point or show signs of a superiority complex. They never admit they're wrong. Maybe partially, but excuses abound! :\
