Come on... I've written that this thread is about how you feel of claymore and berserk being compared!
It's not a "who's better" thread...
please read my first comment, so you'll see what this topic is about.
And why reviving it after such a long time~ 🙄 🤣
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

If I had a fantasy self, it'd be a tentacle monster.

how i feel about claymore and berserk being compared?
-nothing. there are similarities in plot and setting so its not really surprising.
which is better?
- Berserk. Stronger character development. Stronger Plot and Story.
- Claymore. More Babes 😛
would i like them to end soon?
nah. but it would be a great service if they release one volume a week or something hehehe.

Claymore is good.
Berserk is epic.
That about sums it up.
I decided to check out Claymore after reading this thread earlier in the year. I'm glad I did since it is a good manga and it is on the right track to becoming epic but it still has a way to go before it earns that title.
When I started reading Berserk back in 02 I'd heard it was great but knew nothing about it at the time. I'd started downloading it during my final high school exams so I'd have something to read when I'd finished. The first 2 volumes really didn't impress me and I almost stopped reading it there. But I decided to press on and when the God Hand were introduced in volume 3 I was hooked. I just needed to know what had happened between Gutts and Griffith. Then the past arc drew me even deeper into this world Miura has created. Sure it has its slower bordering on boring moments but all epics do. Its needed to give the more epic moments more impact.

Berserk fell off SUPER hard after the whole Band of the Hawks arc......i definitly wouldn't consider it epic anymore.......although at it's peak it was probabbly the best manga i'd read.....but imho it sux right now, it went from Beowulf to Shrek

Yes because the events in Vritannis in recent volumes of Berserk have been nothing but small scale kiddy story telling. 🙄

Berserk has just been slow for the past... like year and a half... It should start being good again in another year.

Yeah.. As much as I like Berserk, I must admit that it's just not as good as it used to be. But then again, all manga have some unsettling parts.
It should pick up the pace ... Shame the realeses are so far apart from each other. sigh
This discussion belongs to the "berserk" forum , I believe.

Berserk hasn't declined... It's just exposition, you impatient little twerps. 🤨 If you get awesome/epic moments all the time, it'll bore you after a while. At least when the next epic moment will come, you'll be all like 😲 .

Just pray that Miura didn't die before that moment comes.
Well, Berserk just isn't a manga to be read chapter by chapter. Just wait 'till it's finished then, and then read it. Would make the experience more entertaining, I bet. 😎
I haven't read Berserk for over 6+ months already, I just let the chapters pile itself up.

So that means you can have fun with 6 more chapters since you stopped reading. 😛
