Since I had Cut on my computer, I decided to finally read it. (just to comment on your post lol)

Yeah, it was different from Escape. I can understand it, though I wouldn't do it.
Its type of violence is easier to understand and relate it.
I liked the story, but the art was quite horrible.

Escape was rushed, and had its bad points, but enjoyment goes either way.

Cut is not perfect and perhaps rushed in some places, but a good story. It was one of the first yaoi I read. Compared with many, I am still quite impressed by the story and characters. It's the kind of story that makes you realize something.

My problem with Escape is not that it represents a relationship like that, but the solution it gives. I can't agree with the author on that. That's why I didn't like it.
