Looking for a light read that's episodic, just simple daily life things. I'd enjoy it more if it there was food... and drinking... 🙂

Shinya Shokudou, perhaps. It's a bit odd in the sense that it actually deals with serious issues, but the humorous undertone is ever-present.

All of these revolve around food, I'm afraid. For some reason, the only alcohol-based manga I know either deal with addiction, or focus on drinking/alcohol itself in a serious way, for example Bartender, Sommelière, Kami no Shizuku...

Nickelodeon is one of my favorites. It's supernatural, but has that slice of life feel to it.
