Ones like Junjou Drop and Otomen where they have a scary face but actually are big softies, and preferably the girl is scared of him at first but changes when she sees his nice side.
What I'm NOT interested in is where the guy actually is an ass or delinquent

how about an anime called "my sweet tyrant" (original: "akkun to kanojo" 😉 ? not sure about novels and manga about it, and it's not shoujo, but the guy is a yandere which puts up a strong facade when she's around, but is in deep love with her. quite funny, actually.
he calls her names, tell her she should just leave him be, and such, while she doesn't mind it and still remain as his girlfriend.
forgot to mention - the episodes are short, only 3 or so mins each.
also, there's "monogatari" ("my story" 😉 , it's shoujo, the guy is a high school student who looks like he's a 30 year old gorilla.

Definitely Ore Monogatari!!, I third it!
Also Angel Densetsu, if you are willing to try a hilarious non-shoujo manga without much romance! (Truly the funniest manga I've read so far)
