There's no such a scale as the scale of malice.
It really depends what kind of person you are,
not who the other people are.
Some things that one person can find highly offensive
when directed at them, other people may find exhilarating
when in the same situation.
I couldn't care less when people badmouth me,
most of the time I just like it,
but when they get physical, I won't just stand there.
I probably try to make it a fist fight.

I, too, will
assume fist fight mode
when
needed in dire
situations.

Ohh, ya, and depends on the person. o.o/

Are girls more mean to girls or guys more mean to guys?

Discuss away

Girls vs Girls: Talk behind their backs, insults in the face that usually end in fights, gang bang fights that use a lot of dirty permanent hurtful tactics (slashes to the face, etc) girls get mad easily for things that guys would regard as stupid or unimportant crap, etc.

Guy vs Guy: Upfront insults that could move to an insult war (closest thing to a debate with shows guys are more often than not the cool headed ones), Straight up fighting with cheap punches to get the advantage, rare gang bangs and rare use of permanent hurt tactics (no slashes to the face, but a LOT of punches), etc.

I think girls are MUCH more mean than guys.

I dunno about the girls , but i think that whether be it male/female you'd better watch out of cliques, clans and groups because on one-on-one relation the two can manage to keep the animosity under control but in a group you'd better run for your life ... 🤢

It's not about the gender, but the person itself imo.

Girls. Emotional wounds last longer.

I've had terrible experiences with them
On both sides of having been mean/nice.
Sometimes survival meant dabbling in insanity.
Those girls:
-Never forgot anything. Once they felt insulted or decided to hate another girl, that was it.
-Spread horrible rumours without ever leaving tracks. Double success if could convince teachers to believe those rumours.
-Liked to take unpopular girls as pets under the false pretense of friendship.
-Made sure that they were thought very highly of and considered nice, respectable girls by authority figures.
-Fought physically without leaving marks.
-Enjoyed every second of the unending, pointless drama.

They were a miserable lot, and I think they simply represent what girls are capable of, rather than our gender as a whole. I couldn't ever enjoy acting that badly.

As for mean men? I've never seen that sort of cruelty to the same extent.

girls.
They have another way of bullying. I was always bullied because of my curls. They don´t let you have friends. You are alone, weird rumors spreeding around, you are an easy victim for stupid guys. Girls can be living horror movie monsters.I´m still mentally damaged, that (plus my diabetes) caused my Asperg syndrome

seems like most people here got experience with the girls.

But guys can be mean to, they can laugh at you when you propose 😢

It's not about the gender, but the person itself imo. Very true, but you gotta take into account, what power this behaviour has on mob mentality. Like what Chaoswind has said about what females would do compared to males in such a scenario; hence why statistically the medium of bullying cases are female related. Normally, you would be right, but statistically, the "who's more mean" question involves a group of thinkers.
