Self Defense
Of course I know how to.
/18 years of fighting with three rowdy brothers.
I used to follow some martial arts, but meh... It was stupid. xD Only good thing about it was the warm-up that kept your body in shape.

My self defense is done in the Jo Koy fashion.
Oh, and I've had training from all the annual christmas tree battles. It can get pretty violent.

I wouldn't call breaking collar bones or dislocating knees a form of self defense, but I can fight. It is all self taught through experimentation of what types of blows inflict maximum damage and what movements enhance that damage. I also self taught myself sword fighting and can take on, and take out, people who have been formally trained in a versed style. I wouldn't call myself a person who could beat up a karate master, but a stupid mugger would wind up in the hospital.
Never doubt your reasons.
Never doubt your cause.

Err, I play Ultimate so I have some crazy wrist action.
...Never mind.
Though I have been told my arm is a bit strong for something scrawny. They all say my any-type-of-ball throws can kill, and my frisbee throws can slice off a head with surprisingly-sharp aims or something. >_____>

I am both self taught and a traditional martial artist so I guess you could say that I can defend myself
However most self defense is just repetition until you are prepared for that type of situation, so it doesn't matter if you are self taught or a hardcore practitioner how you defend yourself is 50-50 even. How you are mentally prepared for the situation so that you know what to do when that situation arises, and being physically(also muscle memory) fit to perform your action with the best result

I have an old baseball bat next to my door. And I know how to flip someone who has me in a choke hold. That's about it.

I don't know anything special, but I punch, kick, pinch, poke, grab, claw, choke, and bite for fun, might as well use it for self-defense too. 🤣

I take Tae Kwon Do classes, like, three times a week ^__^. I didn't actually care about learning to defend myself when I started taking it - I was just looking for some new activity to try, since gymnastics was getting old. ...And now I'm a black belt and can pretty much get out of any hold, and then proceed to beat up on my assailant 😛 . It's awesome, dude.

In freshman year in high school, I took a semester of self-defence but I suck at the movements. I probably can't defend myself at all should someone bother to attack me. I do have a golf club in my room if thieves dare break into my house. 🤣

Ya i really dont have to worry about much because a blow to the spine usually solves most of my problems (and no lethal blows were ever made, i think 😕 )

I used to take Tae Kwon Do. I stopped once I recieved my first degree black belt. I didn't felt like going anymore once I entered my highschool tennis team. I was already busy with tennis practice, but whenever I'm bored and have free time, I practice my stretching, forms (if I can remember them), and moves. Sometime I just try out moves I seen from Tekken, a fighting video game, for fun.

I've never really had to worry about defending myself. All through school I was bigger than everyone else and I never really caused any trouble. Course I'd be in serious trouble if I had to defend myself now.
