A scary game was Dreamland 3 an RPG-Maker-Game, i think only german people know it, well i think it was fun, but the MUSIC was so scary i stopt playing that game, i think i was something like 11 years old.

Fear is just shit, because that game is old and the graphic nothing "serious"

I think one of the scariest games were Bioshock and parts of Crysis!! (i think something like level 6/7? where i enter that big alien ship, and there is no noise and then suddenly thouse shitheads are attacking from everywhere

But the MOST creeping and scariest game is GEARS OF WAR!!!

I played that game, and everytime i was hunted by a berserk, it just gave me the shivers.

(sorry for my english, if you find mistakes, keep them!)

FEAR is shit, but Bioshock and Gears of War is scary? Bioshock was boring and I was never scared of Gears of War.

Hmm there is a game thats pretty old but I bet if it was remade, it would beat all the games listed here. Said game is Clocktower. There is no way to kill the bad guy in that and he can attack you from anywhere, anytime. Also EVERY choice made in that game affects who lives and who dies, including yourself.

Do you mean the 2D sega one, or the 3D ps1 ones

Both of the ones with Scissorman as the villan. Since both dealt with the same protagonist and antagonist I felt that they should both be remade.

Clocktower....!! Clocktower - Movie should start this year, isn´t it?

Well maybe you think that BioShock and Gears of War are not scary, but BioShock was SCARY. Well look, youre just walking, and than suddenly with this creepy music, some of those people are attacking me, it gives you this "yeah"-feeling^^ and the same thing with the GoW - Berserks, 1 hit you die, or you run for your life.

Siren - I thought that Siren was kinda scary but only because the controls were confusing and everything was so dark that you could hardly see anything at all...

Fatal Frame 2 - was more creepy than scary...

Silent Hill 2 - So scary that i didn't even finish it... (i'm so ashamed ) 🙁

I watched a friend play Bioshock late at night with no lights on and the game gave me the chills.

My older guy cousins always said: "Wanna watch me play ______?" So I always accepted knowing it was scary horror games. 😀
Anyways, back to the main topic, looking back on the games I've seen them play, Silent Hill creeped the shit out of me and it still does. I can't play that game by myself or even when I'm with someone. I think it's Silent Hill 2 where you collect the music boxed part, that freaked me out so much. 🤢

Bioshock doesn't scare me, I just jumped the first time I played since I didn't know splicers were in one of the restrooms and a coffin xD
There were other games that freaked me out so much but I forgot their names.

Resident Evil is more creepy than scary. Sure you might jump a little when a dog come flying out of a wall or something, but it's not up there with the Silent Hill and Fatal frame series.

That game was too genius for you to be worrying if it will scare you.
